I am feeling so grateful for the sun and longer day light hours, especially after a challenging week. Everywhere I look there is heart healing and prayers needed. In the midst of that woman writing to check in, showing up at my door with flowers and a hug or simply holding space for my long voice notes. As International Women’s Day approaches I want to introduce you to my beautiful friend Goldie, who truly embodies her name with a heart and soul of pure gold.
She will be supporting us at the Wild and Free Retreat because I just couldn’t picture this day without her there. Like me she loves to be among the trees, frequently stopping to hug, honour and speak to them. I love this about her as we are both so at home barefoot in the forest.
To use labels; she’s a mindfulness teacher, sound healer, breathwork facilitator, a retired teacher and Mom of two boys. She’s also a writer and currently working on her second book. But outside of that she walks through this life with integrity, heart and grace.
Goldie has been such a safe space for me over the years. Someone I fully trust with my vulnerable open messy heart. So because of this I trust her to hold the nourishing space for your heart too at our retreat on May 23rd. She will be leading us through conscious connected breathwork with a cathartic CO2 release part way through. Which will look like a group of women letting out a big beautiful scream together into the woods.
This photo is from the first time she held me in this type of breathwork. I loved it so much and was surprised how I could just let it all go with her. It was so freeing and my body felt so much lighter after. I know part of this was because of how safe Goldie makes you feel in her energy so I cannot wait for you to meet her and experience this ceremony together.

The energies have certainly been something lately. When everything around us feels like it’s happening all at once this right here is our grounding force.
Nature offers us such healing medicine and brings us back home into our bodies. Being within the elements continues to remind me of my strong call to share earth based spirituality and shamanic practices. It is also the driving force behind every retreat experience I continue to create.

The space where the Wild & Free Retreat will be held is a healing experience in and of itself with 43 acres of forested land, walking trails and stunning buildings to practice in.
There is something so magical about time spent among the trees & being barefoot on the Earth, especially as women. We reconnect to our roots and our ancestors. We remember that we are a part of her. Our body softens, our breath deepens and our soul comes home.
This is a day to honour your wild instinctual self, your curious happy and free spirit, your ancestors who knew the power of earth based spirituality and the medicine of your own inner light.

Tonight in ceremony we will honour the Full Moon in Virgo and total Lunar Eclipse, which will be most visible between 6 and 7am EST along Toronto and New York.
Known as the Blood Moon for its red orange glow and the Worm Moon, it is symbolic of balance, personal growth and spiritual awakening. During an eclipse the earth moves between the sun and the moon, while we get to witness what’s believed to be a reflection of every sunset and sunrise this earth has ever seen.
Virgo’s earth energy shifts our focus onto the physical; our health, home and career. The Eclipse Portal can fast tracked our growth if we use this opportunity to witness the obstacles that came up during it. They were not accidental and were not to be feared instead offering us opportunities to learn and grow from.
This is the last full moon before the astrological new year. Like spring cleaning, you are meant to surrender anything that is blocking your flow and your power. To send it down to the Earth with full faith, reverence and trust that it will fertilize the new chapters coming.
We are continually being called into deeper connection with the divine, which includes spirit, nature and yourself. I feel like a broke record saying this but the urge is only getting louder and stronger. Your spiritual self care helps you navigate this wild time in history while also benefiting every single person around you. Please lean in, making the every day sacred and let that light you carry lead the way.

Your March Energetic Reading 🌱
We step into a brand new month today, just hours before the Eclipse portal closes. March itself feels like a threshold, as we welcome in the astrological new year and soon new season ahead.
A month four this year and so timely with what is appearing in the collective. The emperor, representing the divine masculine, is calling us to become aware our own internal patterns, values, motives and boundaries. Encouraging us to not become rigid, as we examine our shadows and any unchecked power, need to control or defensiveness that we ourselves carry and are witnessing in the collective.
We are being called to focus on our own foundations so we may operate from a more grounded embodied centre in order to help the state of the world. This will likely be very physical such as tending to our own health concerns, matters at home and in our career. There is a need to rebalance and especially rebuild with themes around safety and trust.
The intuitive card pull is all about honouring polarities just as March itself holds the energy of both winter and spring. I saw the light beating out the dark which is a call for us to tend to our own light and hold it even in the dark. To take a moment to hold and love your own polarities now.
The Unseen side of the card was upright, which is an invitation to look inward and beneath the surface to cultivate depth. Not ironically this side of the card represents the divine feminine. Which is an even stronger call to focus on the subconscious, our emotional side while further leaning into the mystical.
The Lunar Eclipse will peak Monday overnight and is in the South Node. Meaning we might be circling back to any past or karmic stuff in order to release, transcend and complete it once and for all. What themes are showing up for you and how can you tend to your inner light this coming month?

You don’t always need to do more. Sometimes you just need a day in the forest. To be held by the trees as the noise softens and the body exhales. A sacred place where something ancient in you remembers the way.
Wild & Free is not about fixing yourself. It is a day of gentle unraveling; of stepping out of the roles, the expectations, the constant doing and returning to the quiet truth that has always lived inside of you.
The wild woman whose instinct, wisdom and power is fully embodied. The playful, curious spark, that has always been within you from the time that you were born.
Together, we will honour and integrate both your inner child and wise one within. Gathering in community to move, breathe, walk the forest paths, sit by the fire and be held in deeply loving and intentional space.

When I was younger, I was always outside on the earth. Whirling, twirling and dancing. Camping, fishing and swimming. My call towards shamanism and these earth based spiritual practices and beliefs started then on the lands of Northern Ontario.
I knew that each of the elements held medicine, I felt it deep in my bones and was most at home among them. To this day I am happiest barefoot on the earth and I believe most humans are too. We are innately connected to the earth, her source energy is also in us and coming home to her is a remembering for us.
Tomorrow I will share about a retreat I created with this in mind. An opportunity to find respite among 43 acres of forested land. A return to the trees barefoot happy and free. Intentionally shared on my solar return, who I shared with my Grandmother and whose roots in Carpathian Shamanism I reclaimed last year in May too!
This immersive experience in the forest feels like a way of honouring her, the women who came before us and the remembering that continues through each one of us.
It feels like such a potent time in history to reclaim this wise woman and inner light that runs through us all. Are you ready to return to your roots and be held by the land to feel Wild & Free again?
