Pink Shirt Day is a reminder that kindness, compassion, and inclusion matter, not just in our schools, but in our workplaces, our homes, and throughout our community. As an organization dedicated to providing comfort, dignity, and support, we believe that creating safe, respectful spaces is something we can all take part in every day.

There’s something truly special about our little Hospice 💙

Tucked away like a hidden gem, our itty bitty hospice was designed to feel less like a facility and more like a home. From our spacious, welcoming kitchen where families can gather, share meals, and make memories… to our cozy bedrooms that offer comfort, peace, and privacy… every corner was created with love.

We believe hospice should feel like a home away from home- a place filled with warmth, compassion, and family. Here, there’s always space to sit together, laugh together, cry together, and simply be together.

Our size allows us to focus on what matters most: personal care, meaningful connections, and creating a comforting environment for both our residents and their loved ones.

We are so proud of the home-like atmosphere we’ve built — and so grateful to the families who allow us to walk alongside them during such important moments. 💕

✨ It’s Nonprofit Appreciation Week! ✨

All across Ontario, nonprofit organizations and their dedicated teams play a vital role in strengthening our communities. During Nonprofit Appreciation Week, we recognize the meaningful impact these organizations have in fostering compassion, dignity, and connection, especially within hospice and palliative care.

Community hospices, volunteers, care teams, and palliative physicians work together to support individuals and families through some of life’s most difficult moments. Each year in Ontario, hospice programs provide comfort and specialized care to thousands of patients and families, while also offering grief and bereavement support to more than 45,000 individuals. With the help of more than 15,000 hospice volunteers contributing over one million hours annually, this care reaches into homes and communities across the province.

To our Community, Staff, Volunteers, Donors, and Supporters — thank you for making compassionate care possible when it matters most. 💙
