🚨 As Canadians begin preparing their 2025 tax returns CRA impersonation scams start to increase, especially fake emails, texts, and phone calls designed to steal your personal or financial information.

The real CRA will never:
❌ Send refunds by e transfer or text
❌ Ask for SINs, banking info, or passport numbers by email or phone
❌ Threaten arrest or use aggressive language
❌ Ask for payment via cryptocurrency, gift cards, or e transfer

Scammers may use:
• Phishing emails/texts claiming you must “claim your refund” or “update your account”
• Aggressive phone calls/texts demanding immediate payment or threatening arrest
• Fake CRA websites with unusual web addresses that mimic the real login pages

How to protect yourself:
• Don’t click suspicious links
• Verify messages by contacting the CRA directly
• Check website URLs carefully
• Monitor your CRA “MyAccount” for unusual activity
• Report scams to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre

La véritable ARC ne fera jamais ce qui suit :

❌ Demander votre numéro d'assurance sociale, vos informations bancaires ou votre numéro de passeport par courriel ou par téléphone
❌ Menacer de vous faire arrêter ou utiliser un langage agressif
❌ Demander un paiement par cryptomonnaie, carte-cadeau ou virement électronique

Les fraudeurs peuvent utiliser :
• Des courriels ou des SMS de phishing prétendant que vous devez « réclamer votre remboursement » ou « mettre à jour votre compte»
• Des appels téléphoniques ou SMS agressifs exigeant un paiement immédiat ou menaçant d'arrestation
• De faux sites Web de l'ARC avec des adresses Web inhabituelles qui imitent les véritables pages de connexion

Comment vous protéger :

• Ne cliquez pas sur des liens suspects
• Vérifiez les messages en contactant directement l'ARC
• Vérifiez attentivement les URL des sites Web
• Surveillez votre compte « Mon dossier » de l'ARC pour détecter toute activité inhabituelle
• Signalez les escroqueries au Centre antifraude du Canada

Respiratory Clinic will be on Thursday, March 5th from 4:30pm to 7:30pm this week.

Please note that if you have a primary care provider you should contact their office to book. If you do not have a primary care provider, please call 613-332-1565 EXT 220.

Appointments will only be booked the same day/next day as this is an acute flu/respiratory clinic.

All patients attending must have a valid health card, and wear a mask upon entering the clinic. 😷

Clinics are only available for flu like illnesses, on-going ailments, prescription refills and chronic issues will not be addressed.
