We are Sumiko (Padma) Fedoriuk, and Richard (Dharma) Fedoriuk and have long had a vision to bring traditional classical hatha yoga classes to beginners and established practitioners to raise awareness of healthy lifestyle and to create community among like-minded individuals. We started teaching in 2004 though time was taken off to raise a family, and have been providing online instruction since 2020. Sumiko (Padma) has her Reiki Masters and is certified in Hatha Yoga, Prenatal Yoga, Children's Yoga, and holds a certification in Yoga Therapy along with teaching Infant Massage to parents. Richard (Dharma) is certified in Hatha Yoga and has focused on instruction for Beginners and Meditation courses, and has studied Music (Jazz Performance) in the Fine Arts Program at York University in Toronto. Our wish is to raise awareness of yoga practices and provide an environment for others interested in their personal health and lifestyle choices to learn about and practice traditional classical hatha yoga, and to support the growth of a community around these ideals. Future plans are to expand upon yoga offerings with the following:
- Children's Yoga
- Gentle (Chair) Yoga
- Yoga Therapy
- Talks and Workshops by guest presenters
- Music presentations such as Kirtan (devotional singing & chanting), and other forms
- Movement workshops & Dance events
