“Client Spotlight”

This is Kelly, performing a Barbell Bench Press.
Kelly is one of the most thoughtful, considerate and generous souls that I’ve ever had the pleasure to coach and get to know.
Kelly has been attending Group Training with me since October 2025, her improved lifts and increased strength have been very exciting to witness. Every …single….class, she shows up for herself, smiling, caring to perfect her form and never, ever quits. Her thoughtful and encouraging nature shines through in her interactions with the others, always taking the time to encourage and cheer on her fellow lift mates. Kelly, you are not just a power house in the gym but a power house of a person.
Your thoughtfulness and considerate gestures do not go unnoticed. It’s a real pleasure to know you and to be able to witness your growth. 💛

“Client Spotlight”

This is Jenna in Eka Pada Rajakapotasana, also known as Pigeon Pose! This a fantastic, advanced stretch for hips and should be performed with caution.
Jenna and I met at Tree of Life Yoga studio in Bancroft July, 2024 just after it opened. Prior to joining the studio, Jenna had only attended a yoga class once before in college.
In my 12 years of teaching, I’d have to say Jenna is a fast learner and I attribute that to her self trust and the relationship that she has with her own body.

What I love about Jenna the most is her welcoming, thoughtful, caring and enthusiastic energy that that she brings to every class. She is not afraid to challenge herself, to try new postures, even if it means she doesn’t succeed on her first try. She has a home self-practice as well where she revisits postures that she learns in class.

Jenna practices yoga without ego, and this is super important for all yogis. It allows for transcended self-centered thoughts, while fostering a deeper connection with one’s practice and the community around them. I’m super proud of Jenna, her progress on the mat and the model yogi she has become. It’s a pleasure to have you in class Jenna! ❤️🧘‍♀️

Over the past 4+ years, I’ve overheard talk of “nicotine” patches during truther social gatherings and even been told I would benefit by taking it by health practitioners present.
First of all, I don’t do wearables! I got rid of my Garmin watch about 2+ years ago after research surrounding tracking and tracing.
Second, I feel any external thing you attach to your body will have an effect, disrupt and even diminish your chi/life force .
Third, it’s super important that we use our discernment when it comes to “the research”. Research is often full of wording designed to trick us into thinking something that is very toxic, is beneficial.
Fourth-Spike proteins have not been proven to exist

I also encourage you to consider the following:

1) Duration Paradox”, a duration of time that starts with a “honey moon” phase, or an initial feeling of well being that falls out of the bottom over a longer duration of time. Many things make us “feel good” when we first take them but it’s important to understand effects of “long term exposure”
2) If it’s a product getting lots of exposure, uncensored and being blasted over social media, then it’s likely not good for you!
3) People are awakening, hopefully getting wiser, wanting to be healthier, therefore Tabacco sales are likely plummeting. Pushing Ni****ne patches to the “wellness community” is a sneaky and clever way of getting those sales back😉
