Angela Barton is a dedicated Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) and proud graduate of the Vicars School of Massage Therapy, Class of 2023. She brings four years of experience to her role at RRR—one year as a student therapist and three years as a practicing RMT.
Angela is bilingual in English and French, allowing her to provide care and communication in both official languages. / Angela est bilingue en anglais et en français, ce qui lui permet d’offrir des soins et une communication dans les deux langues officielles.
Angela specializes in myofascial and fire cupping and incorporates a range of effective techniques into her practice, including Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), fascial techniques, gua sha, and joint play. She treats with a therapeutic and systemic approach, creating personalized treatments that support each client’s unique healing journey.
Her work is grounded in a deep understanding of Anatomy, Physiology, and Pathology, stemming from over a decade of service as an Emergency Medical Technician. Angela’s passion for injury treatment and rehabilitation began early in her life, sparked by involvement in a sports medicine program and experience as a trainer for a high school football team. A former lifeguard and boxer, she continues to bring her athletic background and strong clinical foundation into every session.

The Aroma Detox Massage course provides comprehensive training in a specialized treatment that combines essential oils, Vita Flex techniques, focused back and leg massage, and heat application. This integrated protocol is widely used in spa and clinical settings to support detoxification, spinal balance, and overall wellness.
This professional class covers the foundations of the Aroma Detox Massage method, including the essential oils and blends used in the protocol, step-by-step application techniques, and best-practice treatment flow. Participants also receive clear instruction on contraindications, cautions, and blending guidelines to ensure safe and effective use.
Training begins with a brief history and essential oil fundamentals, with focused study of the seven single oils and three blends used in the treatment. The instructor will demonstrate a full session on a volunteer model while participants observe and practice selected techniques. After a lunch break, students work in pairs to give and receive the complete treatment with guided support, followed by a question-and-answer period to reinforce learning and build confidence.
Following the course, each participant receives access to a full treatment video for continued review and skill development. The included kit contains seven single oils, three blends (12 ml each), and a 60 ml bottle of unrefined avocado oil to use as the base oil for back applications.

Prerequisite: Aroma Detox Massage, Enlightened Drops or Raindrop Therapy.

The Advanced Aroma Detox course builds on the foundational protocol and expands your skills with adapted techniques, additional Vita Flex applications, and condition-focused oil selection. This training includes detailed instruction on essential oils commonly used in supportive care approaches for clients living with Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson’s, along with guidance on how to thoughtfully modify the original treatment framework.
Participants will learn two additional treatment formats and have the opportunity for supervised, hands-on practice sessions with fellow students, volunteer models, or arranged demo participants. The course provides deeper clinical insight, practical application strategies, and expanded technique training to help practitioners confidently integrate advanced Aroma Detox approaches into their professional practice.
The kit contains 3 single oils and 1 blend (12 ml each).

Mariel Alkestrup is a Registered Massage Therapist and graduate of the Vicars School of Massage Therapy. She began her hands-on clinical training at Renew Restore Revive Massage Therapy Clinic in September 2024, under the mentorship of clinic owner and director, Danni Gravel, RMT. This experience strengthened her skills, built her confidence, and deepened her commitment to providing compassionate, client-centered care.
Before pursuing massage therapy, Mariel worked as a health care aide in long-term care beginning in 2006. Her many years of frontline experience fostered a strong passion for supporting others—physically, emotionally, and holistically—which naturally guided her toward the field of therapeutic massage.
Now a valued member of the Renew Restore Revive team, Mariel is dedicated to delivering calming and effective treatments that enhance her clients’ overall well-being. She is also committed to ongoing professional growth and plans to expand her skills with advanced training in myofascial cupping and TMJ techniques.
