On this first day of 2026, LifeVac received news that the life of a 3-month-old boy from Florida was saved when his parents utilized LifeVac to remove the obstruction that was blocking his airway. "Scariest day of my life." Keep spreading awareness, LifeVacers.

LifeVac is blessed to share that on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, 7 more lives were saved in choking emergencies. Here are details on these rescues:
A 15-year-old girl from Texas choked on food.
A 2-year-old boy from Texas choked on food.
A 14-year-old boy from Pennsylvania choked on a piece of steak.
A 2-year-old girl from Massachusetts choked on a coin. "My child was blue, LifeVac pulled it up, and with the force was able to turn the coin and get it out of her throat."
A 1-year-old boy from New Hampshire choked on an unknown substance.
A 4-year-old girl from Tennessee choked on a gumball.
A 65-year-old female choked on prime rib. We are so grateful that these families remain intact, and that their loved ones are with them today—laughing, hugging, and celebrating the holidays together.

LifeVac saves 4 more lives during choking emergencies! Today, we are blessed to save a 3-year-old boy who choked on a peanut, a 3-year-old boy who choked on a bagel, a 10-month-old boy who choked on a bottle cap, and an 8-month-old boy who choked on a piece of tape. A 37-year-old woman from Colorado choked on food.
An 83-year-old man who resides at a Portuguese care home choked on lettuce
A 94-year-old woman who resides at a senior living facility in Oregon choked on a potato
A 40-year-old woman was saved by first responders in Texas when she choked on food
A 39-year-old man from Hawaii choked on a piece of steak
A 5-year-old girl from New York was saved by a Good Samaritan when she choked on popcorn.
A 3-year-old girl from North Carolina was saved by a Good Samaritan at a restaurant when she choked on cake. Together, we are making a difference in thousands of lives.

A life saved by the Grove City Police Department!
Officers responded to a choking emergency at a disability facility, where a 44-year-old woman was choking on a sandwich. Officers used a LifeVac device to clear her airway and save her life. We are incredibly grateful to these officers for their swift actions. This incredible rescue was captured on body-cam footage.
