🚨 Pet Safety Alert: Mouse Poison Exposure 🚨

Rodenticides (mouse/rat poison) are extremely toxic to pets and can be life-threatening — even in small amounts. If you suspect your dog or cat has ingested mouse poison, act fast.

🚩Signs to watch for:
• Vomiting or diarrhea (possibly with blood)
• Lethargy or weakness
• Tremors or seizures
• Pale gums or coughing

🐾 Porcupine Awareness for Pet Parents 🦔

With the warmer months upon us, porcupine encounters are on the rise—especially for curious pets who just can’t resist investigating these prickly creatures. A single close encounter can lead to dozens of painful quills embedded in your pet’s face, paws, or mouth.

Here’s what to do if your pet is quilled:
✅ Do NOT try to remove the quills yourself. They are barbed and can break, causing more damage or infection.
✅ Keep your pet calm and minimize movement.
✅ Seek veterinary care immediately. Time is critical to prevent complications.
