This stretch is called the 90/90 stretch. Its a great stretch for the hips, core and low back and helps to open everything up before or after dealing with that dreaded snow!
First, while sitting on the ground, put your legs at 90 degrees from each other. Then the first part of the stretch you lean over the front leg which will stretch out the front glute. The second part of the stretch is leaning back, away from the front leg, which will stretch the back hip flexors. And lastly if you twist over the front leg, will get a nice stretch through the core and low back.
