We will Remember them.
Today, we remember. đź’™
On this Remembrance Day, we pause to honour the courage and sacrifice of those who have served, and those who continue to serve, for the freedom and peace we experience today.
May we never take for granted the cost of that freedom, and may we continue to pursue peace in our homes, communities, and country.

We are so grateful to be a part of Pregnancy Care Canada and be one of the centres providing information about adoption to those who have questions about this option. Throughout November, we will be sharing more information from PCC for Adoption Awareness Month.
You are not alone. We are here for you!

As we acknowledge this month, we want to hold space for both sides of the experience:
For some, it may be a time of validation, awareness, grief, and comfort. If you feel seen or supported during this month, lean into that and allow yourself to sense the community surrounding you.
For others, it may feel heavy or difficult. If that is true for you, please give yourself permission to step back and protect your heart from the weight of awareness messaging.
Either way, if you or someone close to you has experienced a pregnancy or infant loss, please know that Envisage sees you, validates your experience, and cares deeply.

October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month.
At Envisage, part of our mission is to walk alongside those who have experienced pregnancy related challenges including this kind of loss with sensitivity and care. Over this past year, we have been preparing intentionally to expand our capacity in this area so that we can serve all of our communities well.
Once of the ways we provide support in both locations is through our Tender Care Libraries. These libraries are a gentle space dedicated to honouring pregnancy and infant loss, where individuals can reflect, find comfort, and access compassionate resources.
You are not alone.

"A couple months into my pregnancy, I found out that I was having an ectopic pregnancy. I ended up getting misdiagnosed and loosing a baby... Envisage helped me with counselling and support groups and groups for moms and grieving sessions. Even a whole year after they were still helping me and holding my hand through it all. I will never forget this warmth and the comfort... the warmth and the comfort that they provided for me, made me feel like I was never alone."

Envisage is looking for volunteers in both locations in a variety of roles.
Once a year, Envisage holds our Engage Volunteer Training where we explore Why we Exist, Who we Serve, What we do and How we Serve.
Envisage’s next Engage Volunteer Training will be held in January 2026!
October marks Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, a time to support those whose lives are tragically altered by the loss of a baby as a result of a miscarriage or stillbirth.
Did you know that Envisage offers support in this area?
Sometimes it just helps to talk in a supportive environment full of compassionate care. We also have tools and resources to journey alongside someone who has been impacted by miscarriage or stillbirth.
Pregnancy and Infant Loss are experienced by so many families who are often lonely and hidden journeys of grief. We are honoured to come alongside men and women facing these losses and help them learn to walk with grief.
If you or someone you know is in need of support around their Pregnancy or Infant Loss, we are here.

In December 2006, Barrie Pregnancy Resource Centre (BPRC) opened its doors to provide support to anyone facing unplanned pregnancy or pregnancy related difficulty. Since that time, more than 1,6oo teens, women, men, babies and families have been provided with support through our organization.
In September 2018, BPRC opened a satellite location in downtown Collingwood, to serve South Georgian Bay, and the name “Barrie Pregnancy Resource Centre”, no longer made sense. So we changed our name, to allow us to serve in even more communities in the future!
Barrie Pregnancy Resource Centre is now Envisage Pregnancy Services!
Envisage means “To imagine or expect something in the future, especially something good” (Cambridge Dictionary).
When pregnancy is difficult, it can be hard to picture how the future might unfold.
Sometimes it helps to talk.
A listening ear can help you sort through problems and explore possibilities.
At Envisage, we provide you with support to imagine how your future might look…
