Some of you may recognize Sharon. She used to work as our receptionist. Today, she came in for treatment to ease her anxiety (and forced Scott to go along with making this video...she's still bossy!)
There'll be a follow up video in a few days.
If you have any questions about this treatment, give our office a call.

I’m opening…
I am pleased to let you know that the Ministry of Health has relaxed the restrictions on the practice of Massage Therapy in Ontario and is allowing a gradual reopening of in office Health Services. I have been busy the past week preparing the office to receive you as safely and as efficiently as possible. There are several restrictions on how I can proceed receiving patients so my process will not be the same as it was before the pandemic. It has been a challenge and will continue to be somewhat of a challenge to figure out the modified logistics of your experience through our office. I appreciate your patience and understanding as we figure this out together.
Some things I would like you to know about what I have done in preparation to open our office…
A “deep cleaning“ has been performed on every inch of the office where every surface has been cleaned and disinfected with a viricidal compound.
Hand sanitizer stations have been established at the front and back office entry where mandatory hand cleaning will occur upon patient arrival
Treatment rooms, including table or any other touched surface, will be disinfected before and after each use.
We are encouraging the use of “e-transfer” to reduce use of high contact surfaces.
Patient appointments will be spaced further out than normal to allow social distancing.
Active COVID-19 screening will take place upon patient arrival through questionnaire.
Passive COVID-19 screening will take place via Signage that is posted throughout office including points of entry.
Facemasks will be worn by patients and practitioner while in the treatment rooms where social distancing cannot be achieved.
I will be actively screening myself before every shift to ensure that I am COVID free to the best of my knowledge.
These measures, of course are in compliance with the Ministry of Health and the Chief Medical Officers’ expectations. My goal is to make you feel comfortable and safe while you are seeking my services. I appreciate your cooperation as we move through these modified processes and as things evolve and hopefully return to a more “normal“ time.
I ask that you be on time for your appointments, so that we can ensure a smooth flow throughout the day and can, therefore, be able to maintain the social distancing expectations that are upon us.
I don’t know exactly what to expect as I roll out this re-opening and invite you to reach out to me as I am now booking appointments on a limited basis as I achieve the gradual restart I have been allowed to proceed with. I promise to return calls and emails as soon as humanly possible and ask for your patience and understanding as I may experience a high volume of contacts. Please know I am very grateful for your trust and thank you for understanding. To the Person, I am extremely excited to catch up with you and hope you and your families have come through these past few months thriving.
Thank you for being part of my Practice. I so appreciate the confidence you have continued to show me.
