New look. Same purpose.

1door.ca has a fresh new website - making it even easier to find mental health and substance use supports in North Simcoe and Muskoka.

One door. Many services. Less guesswork.

A meaningful new mural honours the legacy of the Youth Shine Campaign and the memory of Mitchell Conlon.

Created in partnership with students from Bear Creek Secondary School, the mural reflects our community’s commitment to supporting youth mental health and addiction in Simcoe County.

Thank you to the Simcoe County District School Board (SCDSB) for creating this video capturing the story behind the mural and the collaboration that brought it to life. Find out more at https://cmhastarttalking.ca/from-loss-to-legacy-youth-shine-campaign-honoured-with-memorial-mural/

Bear Creek SS art students created a powerful mural to help reduce the stigma around mental health. Painted in memory of Mitchell, a former Bear Creek SS student, the project was made possible through a partnership between the SCDSB, Canadian Mental Health Association, and Mitchell’s mom, Natalie. The mural gave students a deeply meaningful way to honour his legacy. 💚

It is now on display at the CMHA in Barrie.
