The storm always shows up right before the breakthrough...

I’ve seen this pattern for over a decade, both in my clients and in myself.

Right now, I’m in a storm.

Not because something is wrong, but because something is changing.

My business is shifting identity. I’m expanding, adding depth, responsibility, and vision for what’s coming next. I’m growing in my faith, my health, and how I show up across my life.

Here’s what I know now that I didn’t before:
You don’t get through storms like this alone.

That’s why getting help is a non-negotiable for me. Not because I’m broken, but because staying stuck costs far more than support ever will.

And yes, it can be uncomfortable to face what’s actually holding you back. Old patterns. Emotional reactions. Conversations you’ve avoided. Truths you’ve minimized.

But avoiding it doesn’t make it go away.

I didn’t avoid it.
I didn’t suppress it.
I didn’t pretend it wasn’t there.

I moved through it intentionally, supported, and faster than most people ever do.

The real question isn’t whether storms will come because they will multiple times.

The question is: Do you want to go through it alone?

I question being an entrepreneur every single day....

And last year 2025 was probably the best year we’ve ever had in our business.

We tripled our clients.
Our revenue doubled.
It was the most profitable year we’ve had in coaching.

And oddly enough, that’s scary sometimes, because success forces you to confront your potential. And in the work we do, potential isn’t just about us anymore. It’s bigger. It carries responsibility. A bigger picture. A deeper obligation to help as many entrepreneurs as we can.

I get it. I’ve been there.

I’ve been the one wondering when the next dollar would hit the bank account.
I’ve been nervous to tell people what I do—wondering if they’d like it, judge it, or judge me.

I’ve asked myself every single day, Is this really worth it?

And when it comes down to it—hell yes. It’s worth it.

Because I get to become the person I need to be. For others, and for myself. I put others first so I can create the life and the freedom I actually want.

Sometimes we have to come back to the real question: Why did I start this business in the first place?

At the beginning, my answer was simple, I’m not a great employee. I never have been. I see things differently than owners, managers, and coworkers. I don’t do water-cooler drama. I don’t care who got kicked off a reality show last night or who “deserved it.”

I’ve always wanted more for myself.

And now that I have a family, that standard is non-negotiable. I have to be the best version of me. There’s no going back.

So I put my shoes on every day and I show up. I put myself out there and I help entrepreneurs, business owners, and 100% commissioned professionals become who they need to be, so they can have what they want in a way that feels easier and more aligned.

No ifs. No ands. No buts.

Is it worth it?

Absolutely. 100%.

I used to be the main character in my own personal s**t show called life.

For over a decade, I took advice from people nowhere close to where I wanted to be. And following their advice turned me into someone I didn’t even recognize.

I stopped taking responsibility. I didn’t care about myself or anyone else. I blamed, complained, and justified everything. I drifted from job to job, pouring my time and energy into companies that didn’t care about me while my mental and emotional health kept slipping.

Why? Because I wasn’t living my purpose. I didn’t know who I was. I tried to fit into everyone else’s expectations until I couldn’t even dream for myself anymore.

And every time I mentioned entrepreneurship, I heard:
It’s too hard.
There’s no security.
You need a real job.
You’re not cut out for that.

For years, I believed them.
Until one day… I didn’t.

Something in me snapped and I finally said, “F**k that.”

Their limits weren’t going to be mine anymore.

I hired coaches.
I devoured books.
I broke patterns and rebuilt who I was.

Piece by piece, my life started coming together like a puzzle and for the first time, the picture actually looked beautiful.

Then in May 2025, I took the biggest risk of my life: I quit my full-time job after running my business part-time for five years.

I couldn’t take the toxicity anymore. I couldn’t call a job “secure” when it was slowly destroying me. I couldn’t keep abandoning the life I knew I was meant to build.

Today, we’re running a thriving coaching company, side-by-side with my ride-or-die, my best friend, my wife. This year has been unreal and since leaving my job in May, I’ve already made more than double what that “secure” paycheck would’ve given me.

I stopped taking advice from people who weren’t living the life I wanted. I set real boundaries. I started showing up like someone who builds, not someone who hopes.

And you know what happened?

Our life changed.
Our income changed.
Our confidence changed.
Our freedom changed.

We review our finances weekly, stay aligned on our goals, and do things now we never thought were possible back then.
And the best part?
This is just the beginning.

If you do these 4 simple things daily, you will crush it in your business.

1. Show Up

Show up every day, not just when it’s convenient.
Show up in your marketing by posting consistently, creating value, and letting people see who you really are.
Show up in your business by reviewing your numbers, knowing your finances, and treating your income like a leader, not a hobbyist.
Most entrepreneurs disappear when life gets messy, the ones who win are the ones who stay visible and accountable.

2. Attitude

Your attitude is the accelerator or the anchor in your business.
A destructive attitude sounds like: “I can’t do this,” “Everything is hard,” “Why does everyone else have it easier?”
A winning attitude sounds like: “I’ll figure it out,” “I’m committed,” “I’ll do what it takes even when it’s uncomfortable.”
Your results will always rise or fall to the level of the attitude you bring into every decision.

3. Respect

Respect your time by setting boundaries that protect the hours that actually grow your business.
Respect your business by knowing the difference between working on the business and working in the business — and committing to both.
Working on the business is where income is created: prospecting, networking, follow-up, relationship building, marketing, sales activities.
Working in the business is the delivery: appointments, presentations, serving clients, fulfilling the work you sold.
Neither is complicated — it’s simply consistent effort repeated weekly.
And respect the people you serve by showing up fully, lifting them up, and operating from integrity, not ego.

4. Do What You Say

Your word is your contract, with yourself and with the people watching you.
When you say you’re going to do something and you actually follow through, you build trust, credibility, and identity-level confidence.
Your actions speak louder than any promise, goal, or motivational talk ever will.
Entrepreneurs who follow through win. Entrepreneurs who justify their inconsistency stay stuck.

Do the simple things with consistent action, and the results most people call “lucky” start showing up everywhere in your life.

On my 50th birthday, I thought I’d celebrate a milestone. Instead, I walked out of the hospital with Type 2 diabetes and a stack of prescriptions they told me I’d probably need for life.

They told me I’d be on two, maybe three medications.
They told me insulin might be next.
They told me this was my new normal.

And I remember looking at the doctor and saying…
Like hell I am.

I took the medication they gave me in the ER, brought it home, and made a decision right in that moment most people never make.

I wasn’t going to manage this diagnosis.
I was going to overcome it.

Over the next month, I cut the dose in half.
Thirty days later, I came off it completely.

I went from a sugar level of 12.1 to 6.1–6.5 Now

Not with more pills.
Not with insulin.
But with discipline.

Daily movement.
Carnivore and keto.
Cutting sugar and almost all carbs.
No shortcuts. No magic.
Just consistency and commitment.

And here’s the truth:
It wasn’t hard… but it wasn’t easy either.
It took choosing my health over my cravings.
It took saying no to old habits so I could say yes to a healthier life.
It took deciding that I wasn’t going to let medication become my destiny.

Nine months later, I feel healthier at 50 than I did in my 30s.

And if there’s anything I’ve learned, it’s this:

Your circumstances don’t get the final say—your discipline does.
Your determination does.
Your willingness to do the things most people won’t do… does.

You are never stuck.
You are never too far gone.
And you are never too old to take your power back.
