First Aid Training Provider / Community Services

St. John Ambulance Barrie Simcoe Muskoka is proud to deliver reliable and sustainable community services in Simcoe County and Muskoka. Our volunteer community service programs include Medical First Response, Therapy Dogs, Car Seat Inspections and Youth programs. St. John Ambulance also offers the most comprehensive, state-of-the-art first aid and CPR training programs for the workplace, the home and the community. Proceeds from our training programs support our community service programs for seniors, youth, and the community. When you train with us, you support your community!

In 2017 our Medical First Responder volunteers attended 269 community events and administered first aid to 127 patients; the Therapy Dogs visited 3,440 residents/students/children to offer companionship and support; the Car Seat Safety Team inspected 178 infant car seats and educated parents/guardians in the use of child restraint systems; the Youth unit volunteered 717 hours learning leadership and first aid skills.

The Barrie Simcoe Muskoka branch has been offering First Aid/CPR training and community services programs for more than 70 years with the support of our volunteers and community partners.
