TrustWell Senior Care TrustWell Senior Care (formerly known as Seniors For Seniors™) was founded in 1985 by Peter D. From this basic premise Peter created Seniors For Seniors.

Truswell Senior Care is a non-medical homecare service providing friendly Companion and PSW Caregivers to help seniors live as independently as possible at home, in a retirement residence or in long term care. Cook on the advice of his then 80 year old mother, who told him about her younger friends who were bored at home and looking for things to do. She also noted that her older friends needed assistance to remain independent for as long as possible in their own homes. Seniors For Seniors™ is a non-medical senior homecare agency providing Junior Seniors to assist Senior Seniors™. With most of our “Junior Seniors” being 60 to 70 years of age and most of our clients in their 80’s and 90’s, there is relatively little age difference between caregiver and client – leading to a stronger bond between the two since they have many mutual life experiences to share. Since 1985, Seniors For Seniors has successfully employed thousands of Junior Seniors to assist thousands of Senior Seniors. Services:

I heard an excellent documentary on CBC Radio's "Ideas" on Wednesday night - the topic was ELDERCARE and it points the need for good communication amongst family members when our parents figure out the next steps...

Just attended a general meeting of members The Alzheimer's Society of Greater Simcoe County (soon to be the Alzheimer's Society of Simcoe County following a merger with NE Simcoe County Alzheimer's Society next March).
