On December 3rd, 2025, we celebrated Livita’s 5th year anniversary and The Barrington’s 26th year anniversary!
We also recognized many staff and residents milestone anniversaries, which we are proud of! Recognizing and celebrating these special milestones together is truly magical.

Livita Barrington Retirement Residence was happy to be among local sponsors to host Seniorlicious held by City of Barrie 55+ Clubs. Over 100 attendees joined the event to learn about retirement living and enjoy samples from our culinary teams.

We are known for our delicious homemade soups and savory baked goods. Participants came back for seconds of our beef stew and extended compliments to our chef!

Livita Barrington would like to thank, members of the Royal Canadian Legion for holding a Remembrance Day Service in house for the Residents on November 7, 2025. From marching in of the colors, along with the Veterans who live here, to laying of the wreath and moment of silence. The service was appreciated by all.

Livita Barrington Residents had a spooktacular good time at their Halloween Celebration.

Residents, Staff and Family dressed up. We had traditional and creative costumes. There was a pilot, princesses, clowns, a mad hatter, a unicorn, 2 old crows, a witch, a devil, some bunnies, a batman, and many more.
Residents enjoyed music from the ParaGuinns and then voted on the costumes. Winners for the Residents were the 2 Old Crows and Miss Canada. The witch at the front desk won for the staff.
