Denise completed her Bachelor of Health Science degree from the University of Western Ontario in 2007; and continued on to complete a Master of Science degree in Physiotherapy at McMaster University in 2009. She also had the opportunity in 2009 to complete further training in Kaimuki, Hawaii, providing physiotherapy services to patients, as well as assisting with running an injury prevention program for female youth soccer athletes. She has attained certificates in the McKenzie Method (Part A), Muscle Energy Techniques from Alternative Healthcare Solutions, and Strain-Counterstrain from the Connecticut School of Integrated Manual Therapy. She has specialized further with courses specific to evidence-based assessment and treatment for the spine, sacroiliac joint and pelvis, urinary incontinence and pelvic floor dysfunctions, breast cancer rehabilitation, as well as sport specific activities such as running, golf, and figure skating. Denise is passionate about helping her patients recover from their injury, as well as assisting in injury prevention. She works with her patients providing treatment which includes education regarding injury and recovery, as well as manual therapy, and specifically tailored active exercise. Denise assists her patients to achieve their goals, and return to their sports, hobbies and activities.
