💛 Newborn Jaundice & Massage 💛
Something I often hear from new parents is worry about their baby having jaundice. While your doctor will always be the best guide, here’s something reassuring - gentle massage has been shown to help support newborns with jaundice.
By increasing circulation, massage can help the body naturally excrete bilirubin (the substance that causes jaundice). And the best part is - you don’t need to book an appointment with a professional. You can do this yourself at home.
Try this:
• Use soft, gentle touch when applying lotion
• Take a few extra minutes during your baby’s routine to connect through touch
• Enjoy the added benefits - bonding, relaxation, and a calm moment together
If you’re ever concerned about jaundice, always check in with your baby’s healthcare provider. But know that a little extra love through touch can be both safe and beneficial.

Abdominal massage was effective in reducing bilirubin levels and may increase the number of defecations. Providing massage training to the parents of infants who are discharged early could be a protective approach to prevent the rise in bilirubin levels.

🪻 Prenatal & Postpartum Massage

Pregnancy is a beautiful journey, but it often comes with physical changes and new challenges. Massage therapy is a safe and effective way to support your body through these changes, and my goal is to ensure you feel comfortable, cared for, and understood.

🌷 Benefits of Prenatal Massage
• Relieves lower back, hip, and pelvic discomfort
• Reduces swelling and improves circulation
• Promotes better sleep and relaxation
• Provides both physical and emotional support during pregnancy

🌻 Postpartum Massage
• Assists with recovery after birth
• Reduces muscle tension and restores balance
• Supports emotional well-being during the postpartum transition

🌹 My Training & Expertise
During my studies at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy, I chose pregnancy massage as my specialty clinic, where I learned directly from experienced RMTs how to safely treat and care for expectant mothers. Since graduating in 2017, I have had the privilege of supporting many prenatal and postpartum clients, while continuing my education with advanced courses focused specifically on pregnancy and postpartum massage. This specialized training allows me to adapt every session to your unique needs while keeping you and your baby safe.

🌼 Safe & Comfortable Positioning
Every pregnancy is different. To ensure your comfort, I use a pregnancy massage pillow that provides space and support for the belly and chest, along with other adaptations such as customized pillowing or semi-reclined positioning for those experiencing acid reflux. These adjustments help you feel relaxed, supported, and completely at ease during your treatment.
You can trust that you are in experienced, caring hands. My goal is to provide massage that not only eases discomfort but also helps you feel more connected to your body during this special stage of life.
