The Child Wellness Hub is for children 0-5 without a family doctor or Nurse Practitioner including those without OHIP coverage. The goal is to ensure all children get the care they need for a healthy start in life.
Many families in the area struggle to find a doctor or nurse practitioner, and 1 in 5 children aged 0 to 5 do not have a primary care provider. This program, a partnership between ConnectWell, the Renfrew County and District Health Unit, and the Renfrew County Youth Wellness Hub, is here to help.
Call our direct line at 613-570-8953 to Book an Appointment at the ConnectWell Renfrew County Child Wellness Hub.

Our Work for a Healthier Community...

The Whitewater Bromley Community Health Centre (WBCHC) opened in 2005 and is 1 of 3 “parts” under the umbrella of Lanark Renfrew Health & Community Services (LRHCS). While each "Part" of LRHCS is unique, all 3 "parts” are governed by one, community-based Board of Directors.

Some still consider us the “doctor’s office.” The words “Community Health Centre” provide a much better description of who we are.

Our staff - which includes family doctors, nurse practitioners and nurses – also includes a social worker/counsellor, respiratory therapist, health promoter, psychotherapist and administrative support.

Together with our many partners, volunteers and Board, our team supports our clients to achieve physical, mental, social, and spiritual wellbeing. We work together to ensure healthier people, healthier communities, community belonging, and a more sustainable health care system.
