REMEMBRANCE DAY.
My Daddy was a Canadian Airforce Serviceman - Hangar Tech... and my Mom and Dad raised us to understand, and understand well...
Respect
I was actually raised by hippie-types, my Mom and Dad were quintessential long-haired musicians, and because of their ideals I HATE war. I am against it completely! But they also raised me to know that sometimes we are faced with oppression that threatens our Freedom, our rights, and we must make a choice to stand strong and defend - violently, if needs be - our rights, our freedoms, and our choices. And war is many times a necessary evil required to fight that oppression.
Our veterans did fight. They fought and many died .... so I, and my little boy, and millions of other Canadians could enjoy those same rights, freedoms, and to have and make our own choices. They fought and died so that we could live the very lives of Freedom we now enjoy.
Would I prefer peace?? Hey... I'm a lover, not a fighter. But I have absolute repect, love, and admiration for those who wanted me to be ABLE to choose peace when I could.

Resonance will close it's business at the 11th Hour on the 11th Day of the 11th Month and we will stand in respect of those who made our lives possible. Business will resume at 12:00 after our respects have been paid.

🚨 It’s important to know the heart attack symptoms specific to women - women often chalk up the symptoms to less life-threatening conditions such as acid reflux, the flu or normal aging.

‼️ Many people think the signs of a heart attack are unmistakable, but the signs may not be obvious and might be confusing. Even when the signs are subtle, the outcomes can be deadly, especially if the person doesn’t get help right away.

🚑 If you have any of these signs or symptoms, call 911 and get to a hospital right away:
• Uncomfortable pressure, squeezing, fullness or pain in the center of your chest. It may last more than a few minutes or go away and come back.
• Pain or discomfort in the arm, back, neck, jaw or stomach
• Shortness of breath with or without chest discomfort
• Nausea
• Lightheadedness

‼️ Women may have other symptoms that are typically less associated with heart attack, such as:
• Anxiety
• Shortness of breath
• Upset stomach
• Unusual tiredness and weakness

EMERGENCY INFORMATION

A drug widely used to treat nerve pain has been linked with dementia and cognitive impairment.
A new study analyzing over 26,000 patient records has found a significant link between long-term gabapentin use and increased risk of both dementia and mild cognitive impairment (MCI).
Patients with six or more prescriptions were 29% more likely to be diagnosed with dementia and 85% more likely to develop MCI within a decade.
The risk was even greater among adults aged 35 to 49, prompting researchers to urge physicians to monitor cognitive health in patients using the drug long-term.
Gabapentin has grown in popularity as a less addictive alternative to opioids. However, its mechanism—dampening communication between neurons—may also disrupt critical brain connections, potentially contributing to cognitive decline.
While past research has been inconclusive, this new study’s large sample size offers more weight to the growing concerns. Researchers stress the importance of further investigation to determine whether gabapentin plays a causal role in dementia development or simply correlates with other risk factors in chronic pain patients.
