The Alliance for Healthier Communities represents community-governed, team-based primary health care organizations across Ontario. Among those organizations are community health centres (CHCs) providing comprehensive primary health care, including chronic disease management and community development, in rural, remote and northern communities and regions across the province.

Rural, Remote and Northern Community Health Centre (CHCs) are playing a pivotal role in ensuring every person in Ontario is attached to primary care.

Residents of Brock can call 211 for a free, confidential referral to community and social supports such as food, housing, and mental health resources. This service is available 24/7 in 200+ languages.

WeConnect (formerly COPE Mental Health) is a 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 community mental health service for people aged 16 and older. We offer group services that provide emotional support, connection with others, education, and strategies to help individuals care for their mental health and overall well-being.

WeConnect serves all of Durham Region with in-person and online support groups, workshops, and educational sessions.

There are lots of workshops coming up in February, so register today!

Brock CHC staff Travis Dukelow, Youth and Community Health Worker, and Silvia Chu, Registered Dietitian Diabetes Educator were honoured to be part of the Wellness Fair at Brock High School on February 6, 2026, celebrating youth wellness in our community. Travis and Silvia enjoyed connecting with the students as well as the local partners who are empowering our youth to care for their physical, mental and emotional well-being and learn about the resources in our community to help them thrive.
