Strongest Families Institute We equip clients with skills to overcome issues affecting their wellbeing over the phone.

Strongest Families Institute is a not-for-profit charitable organization providing evidence-based services to children and families seeking help for mental health and other issues impacting health and well-being. Available in both English and French, Strongest Families provides timely care to families by teaching skills through our unique distance coaching approach – supporting families over the phone and Internet in the comfort and privacy of their own home. Strongest Families provides family-centered care that is customized to their needs. All our programs are backed by twenty years of Social Science research and Co-Founded by Dr. Patricia Lingley-Pottie and Dr. Patrick McGrath.

There are serious health inequities facing Canadian women that have gone unnoticed or ignored. With the support of the Shoppers Drug Mart Foundation for Women’s Health Community Grants Program, we’re developing the Strongest Beginnings: Equitable Perinatal Mental Health Support Without Barriers program.
