Protect your skin this Skin Cancer Awareness Month!
1. Apply SPF Daily: Whether it's sunny or cloudy, slather on broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher. Don't forget those easy-to-miss spots like ears, lips, and the tops of your feet!
2. Seek Shade: When the sun's rays are strongest, typically between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., find shade under trees, umbrellas, or awnings to reduce direct sun exposure.
3. Cover Up: Wear protective clothing like wide-brimmed hats, long sleeves, and UV-blocking sunglasses to shield your skin from harmful UV rays.
And remember, if you notice any unusual changes in your skin, such as new moles or spots that change in size, shape, or color, consult your dermatologist promptly. Your skin's health is worth it!
