Needle the difference? 🤔 Let’s break it down!
Both Medical Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Acupuncture involve the use of fine, sterile needles - but their methods and how’s are quite different:
✨Medical Acupuncture (offered by our physiotherapists) is based on Western medicine. It targets muscles, nerves and trigger points to:
• Reduce pain and inflammation
• Improve movement and circulation
• Help with issues like chronic pain, tension and injuries
🌿 Traditional Chinese Acupuncture (offered by our licensed TCM Acupuncturist, Jennifer) is rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine. It focuses on restoring the flow of Qi (energy) through the body’s meridians (energy channels) to:
• Balance internal systems
• Promote overall wellness
• Support digestion, sleep, mood and immunity
Both methods are very effective - it all depends on your body, goals and type of healing you’re seeking! 🙌🏻
If you are unsure which approach is best for you, book a Discovery Call to chat with one of our practitioners.
