I know this might feel like it’s coming out of nowhere, and I know some people may not understand this decision. But this has been on my heart for a long time, and it finally felt right to share it…

Being an entrepreneur is not easy, but it has been one of the greatest adventures of my entire life. It’s been a privilege to make something loved by so many.

I’m excited to make time to be creative and paint murals again without the guilt of not working on my scrunchie to-do list. Murals (.tina) was a chapter that I put on pause in 2019 to fully pursue XXL Scrunchie.

I filmed a vlog explaining this pause in full, because it’s not something I can easily sum up in writing. There are so many more thoughts, decisions, and reasons behind it, I’ll share that vlog as soon as it’s live! ☁️

Thank you for being here for (almost) 6 years! 🫶🥰

Our second ever in-person warehouse sale (Christmas edition!) is officially in the books! 🎄When I arrived at 8am last Saturday morning, two hours before we opened our doors, there was already a line outside… 🥹

The very first people in line were waiting at 5:45am, bundled up in winter jackets, lawn chairs, blankets, and all. Seeing that kind of dedication for our small scrunchie business from Belleville will never feel real to me.

Even though our summer sale in June was incredible, I didn’t expect this weekend to match it, let alone surpass it.

Summer Sale Day 1 → 411 in person orders
Christmas Sale Day 1 → 421 in person orders (!!)

This year has thrown challenge after challenge at us, ending 2025 on a happy note like this right before I take a break from .scrunchie and from launching new products next year, feels extra special. I have some exciting new plans during my “break” that involves being creative (✨ painting murals ✨) again and I can’t wait to show you! 🤸🏻

Thank you to every single person who lined up, shared our event, shopped with us, volunteered, to my team, my family, the vendors that showed up, and those who cheered us on online. You (and my parents) are the reason XXL has made it as far as it has! We will turn 6 this January!

If you’re going through something heavy yourself… I see you. Resting, pausing, and catching your breath is more than okay and that’s what I’ll be doing starting January.

A few small moments from our XXL Christmas Warehouse Sale this past Saturday ❤️🎄
Still in disbelief that we got to do this again, thank you to everyone who showed up, supported, and made the day so special. 🥹

Our website is still password-protected while we recover and recount inventory but don’t worry… our online Black Friday sale will be live this Friday November 21st @ 12PM ET 👀🖤

It’s for everyone who couldn’t make it in person and for our worldwide community. The deals won’t be quite as crazy as the in-person sale (we had to make it worth the trip!), but it’s still going to be our biggest online sale of the year.

A huge thank you to from Kingston for coming all the way to Belleville to deck out our warehouse and make it feel so festive!! 🎈✨ I shared the colour palette and said, “Do your thing!” and without missing a beat she replied, “Do you have a ladder? I think these need to hang from the ceiling.”

To some, they might just look like pretty balloons but to me, they’re also a beautiful act of kindness and a reminder of how thoughtful this community really is. 🥹

Fun fact: Christina (the owner of ) actually offered to make a balloon arch for my very first warehouse sale in exchange for scrunchies to help support me, and I just knew I had to reach out again for this one. Now she has a forever customer… me!! 🖤

This is the magic of small businesses supporting small businesses, lifting each other up!

I went to bed at 8:30pm last night and woke up wondering if yesterday even happened… because it truly felt like a dream. 🥹🎄

Over 500 of you came through our doors for the Christmas Warehouse Sale and we actually beat the order count from day one of our in-person summer sale!!

Thank you for lining up early, showing up with so much excitement, and making this one-day event something we will never forget. 🖤✨

Our website will remain password protected while we rest, reset and recount inventory. We’ll reopen the site for our Online Black Friday Sale on November 21st at 12 PM ET ❤️ the online deals won’t be as crazy as in-person (to keep things fair for those who made the trip), but they will still be the best online deals of the year!

I don’t think I’ll ever have the words for how grateful I am for not only yesterday, but these past 5 (almost 6!!) years. Thank you for believing in this XXL scrunchie business and supporting me, my family and team ✨
