On the heels of International Women’s Day, we spent a beautiful day celebrating some of the incredible women who call The Richmond home. 💜
With a little pampering, some creative costumes, and a touch of make-up, these remarkable women reminded us what true beauty looks like — confidence, resilience, kindness, and strength shaped by a lifetime of experiences.
And the best part? No filters. No Photoshop. No AI. Just an iPhone, authenticly genuine moments, and the radiant women themselves.
Throughout the day there were constant words of encouragement, laughter, and quiet moments where women helped straighten each other’s crowns. 👑
What unfolded in that room was something truly special — women lifting women, stories shared, and smiles that said more than words ever could.
It was powerful, heartfelt, and deeply moving to witness so much love, empowerment, and grace in one space.

🌴☀️ All Aboard! Our Caribbean Cruise Has Begun! 🚢
Today we officially set sail on our in-house Cruise the Caribbean, and our first port of call was sunny Jamaica! Residents were all aboard for the themed menus, tropical drinks, and lively activities that brought a little island sunshine right into our home.
But the adventure is just getting started…
Tomorrow we come ashore in beautiful Mexico! Think all-you-can-eat tacos, vibrant dancers, and even more fun and exciting activities as we continue our journey through the Caribbean.
Stay tuned as our travelers collect memories, laughter, and maybe a few extra tacos along the way! 🌮🌺

Oh, the fun that we had — oh, the sights we did see! 🎩📚
A day full of giggles, for you and for me!
For Dr. Seuss Day, our residents gathered around,
With rhymes that were silly and joy all around.
We munched One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish snacks with delight, 🐟❤️💙
And sipped Whoville cotton candy drinks that were fluffy and light! 🍭
We read some old favourites, we laughed and we cheered,
At stories we’ve loved for so many years.
With rhymes that were wacky and tales that were sweet,
It was Seussian fun that just couldn’t be beat!
Because here at The Richmond, we happily say…
You’re never too old for a Seuss-tastic day! 🎉📖✨

We weren’t kidding when we said March would be packed with fun and adventure! 🌴🌊
Our annual In-House Cruise is back, and this year we’re setting sail to some of our favourite Caribbean hot spots! ☀️🏝️
Each day brings a new destination, complete with tropical vibes throughout The Richmond — think themed menus, refreshing island-inspired drinks, lively entertainment, and activities that will have everyone feeling like they’re oceans away (no passport required 😉).
