We are hiring! Hello, we are Orchard Villa Home for Seniors. We are looking for part-time employees to start immediately. Experience is an asset but we will train you upon hiring. Must be able to do all levels of personal care, manage medications, cook, clean including laundry, and have excellent interpersonal skills. Some support/lifting is required. Must be able to work a mix of days, evenings, overnights, and weekends.
We have three homes, two located in Berwick and one located in Middleton. Possibility of being trained at all three locations.

Hello! We are looking to fill two (2) student positions this summer! We did this last two (2) years and are are looking to continue again this year.
Location: We have two (2) homes in Berwick and one in Middleton.
About the job: We are looking for a caring, empathetic and personable person to care for senior citizens. The jobs requires helping with personal care, washing, and dressing. Distributing medications, training will be given. Cooking, cleaning, and laundry. Our residents vary in cognitive abilities. Most have dementia in varying stages. Some lifting is required, training on safe lifting will be given. There will be extensive training given in all aspects of the job. Our homes are small giving lots of opportunity to have one-on-one time with every residents and learning about their likes and dislikes so we can provide the best care.

We have joined the Macdonald’s Museum outside farmers market in Middleton! Residents and staff have worked hard to bake goodies for everyone! We are doing a free will offering and the market is every Thursday for the summer from 3pm-6pm, come out and join us!

Orchard Villa staff want to ensure the public is aware we offer respite care in the Berwick East home. We have a bedroom available on the main level for those individuals in need. Whether it be for the day, a night, a week or a couple weeks we are here to help. There are times when an individual may need a place to recuperate after the hospital before going home, a family may have a loved one living with them but they need to go away for awhile and need assistance or there may be times where a family may just need a little time on their own ( a much needed relaxing break). We can help during these times. If there is someone you know who could benefit from this service please contact Kara Colbourne at 902-385-0569. She would be happy to answer any questions you may have 😊
