And we come to the Lesson within our wheel this week with the sacred rebels oracle card of Inspiration. I like that it is the 3rd card in the deck as that's the number of dreams and manifestations. Also of teaching and learning and how we all do it.

We are being asked to follow and listen to our inspirations as we pursue our biggest visions right now. We have to give ourselves permission to believe that anything is possible and we can achieve exactly what we want to. Because that is the first step to actually getting there.

Inspiration and that positive belief in oneself can be contagious. A reminder that we are all connected in what we do and say to eachtoher. We can be more powerful as a group (like the bees on this card) achieving great things together. But it all starts with what we say and do for ourselves. Project what you want to see in the world.

With our Healing card, the Five of Cups, we are brought a fearsome message from the ghost, La Llorona. Jealous of her husband's new wife, she drowns her own children, and is said to now haunt areas of Mexico for eternity, wallowing in her grief and never seeking redemption.

We are being asked, what has living in regret, guilt, and self-pity ever done for you? Has it ever brought you what you needed or wanted? Has it ever helped you achieve your goals? I bet it has definitely distracted you from any of the opportunities yesterday's card, the Page of Pentacles, spoke of.

It's okay to acknowledge your pain and suffering and mistakes. But you cannot dwell there forever, stuck in stagnation and depression. Because then, yes, that dream of happy endings will remain forever in the future. So pick up those lessons secreted away in the regrets, dust yourself off, and get back on that path!

The Page of Pentacles is a card of manifestation in the Manifestation position of this weeks wheel! Things are looking good!

If you can change your perspective to one of actually seeing yourself achieving your dreams, and not leaving them eternally in the future, you may notice your life seeming a little bit brighter. It's time to leave the darkness of our past... in the past!

This page is all about new opportunities, don't let one get past you. If someone offers you an opportunity, grab it. It may be the exact thing you need to reach your goals.

Build a solid foundation for yourself by taking care of your mental health and your perspective of yourself and your life and you will find that suddenly great opportunities are manifesting all around you. This isn't magic, though it can seem like it. It's just that we start noticing different things depending on the attitudes we hold daily.

The Chariot as our card of Power this week is saying you already have the knowledge, skills, and confidence to pursue those dreams you have previously put in that far off, never reached future.

You may have made a lot of mistakes in the past. But what did you learn from them? It was all training to become the powerful warrior of your own destiny right now. This card is all about charging forth into victory.

So harness everything you have right now to your advantage. What skills have you put on the shelf that you could wield today? There is a clear path towards that happy ending you dream of, you just have to allow yourself to see it.

This week starts us off with the Vision of the Nine of Cups. This is the card of happy endings. Contentment and fulfillment both emotionally and spiritually. I'm pretty sure every single human on this planet has such a vision of what that would be for them, no matter where they are from or what they believe.

That's the great equalizer, every human wants not just survival and security, but a life in which they thrive and every one they love is there with them, thriving and loving their life completely. Yet, we let so much get in the way of that for ourselves and others.

Many of us are guilty of putting their happy ending vision always somewhere in the distant future, yet never adjusting our present to a path that will lead us there. Or projecting onto others images of villainy and distrust, or othering so that we can't view them as humans with the very same goals as our own, often obstructing their path towards their own happy endings.

Let's stop this division now. And allow everyone to strive towards their life of thriving.

This weeks wheel has been all about deep self reflection. And this oracle card is doubling down on the advice given this week.

Our perception of ourselves can often become very confused and distorted if we are basing it solely on the reflection of ourselves that others project back to us. Remember, what they see and their opinions and judgements of you are only one facet of the whole, and has often been been filtered and distorted by their own fears and judgements of themselves.

Not every reflective surface is created equal, and not every opinion is either. Only your direct perception of yourself can get you closer to your own truth.

We can take other's perspectives into consideration, but we cannot build our identities and personalities on what others assume about us. You not only know who you are, you get to decide who you are. No one else gets to do that for you.

As our Healing card this week the Queen of Wands is asking you to express and embody your beliefs and who you are deep down inside without fear or judgement.

If you hold what you believe in so strongly and confidently, then you shouldn't be scared to express it and be it. And this is why it is so important this week to look inside and analyze if the beliefs you hold are truly yours.

Because if you are scared to express or embody what you believe, then are they truly your beliefs? Are you actually being yourself? Or are you holding onto what other people or society has projected onto you?

Pele is the Goddess that nourishes and does what feels right in every instance. Both destroying and creating. Only keep what nourishes you and and the the world around you.

Our Manifestation card this week is the Lovers. And like I have said before, this card isn't just about romance. It may factor in for you this week depending what is going on in your life, but your romantic relationships may just be one of many choices you have to think about.

This week the Lovers are asking you to look at the duality of your spiritual and physical life. Directly, it is asking you, do you walk the talk?

Many of us believe in a lot of spiritual concepts and ideals, which we are being asked to look at deeply this week. So how do our spiritual beliefs manifest for us in our daily life? What do you actually practice? Not just rituals. But your daily actions. Do they demonstrate daily the ideals and ethics you hold as important?

Are you an example or a hypocrite?

Our Power card this week is the Nine of Wands. Representing persistence, strength and hope. You are near the end of a long an arduous trial and the rewards it will reap can be seen on the horizon.

Baba Yaga's house on chicken feet can be seen in the background on this card. She is often seen as a villain these days, but I think that may be a misrepresentation. I see her more as the Hermit with deep knowledge and spiritual wisdom whom people like the young Vasilisa the Beautiful seek out, hoping for a quick answer.

But most people don't learn the lessons if we are just told them. Humans learn through trial and error. And Baba Yaga and other spiritually enlightened people see through the illusions and know what trials and tests you have to go through to fully understand.

Your power this week will be the ability to persist and endure the hard work ahead. Pay attention, because this work is important and full of lessons.

We start this week off with the Hermit as our Vision card. The Hermit is imploring us to stop whatever it is we are doing right now and look within.

Not on a surface level either. Look deep. Deep into your spiritual beliefs and really evaluate what they are and what they mean to you.

There is a type of spiritual Hermit in most religious histories. We tend to picture the lone monk on the top of a mountain or locked away in his cell deep in meditation or other esoteric rituals. This kind of deep internal exploration is what is being asked of us.

It isn't easy, it is a calling. What form it takes for you depends entirely on who you are as a person. Are you willing to take up this journey and grow in ways you have never imagined?

For our Lesson cards this next little while I will be using the Sacred Rebels oracle deck. Just to switch things up for a bit. And so far, things are looking good! Our first lesson card of the year fits perfectly into our medicine wheel this week!

We are being shown that it is okay to go "Against the Grain" sometimes. It's time to do it more often right now as the status quo is proving to be more and more unhealthy for us day by day.

The wheel this week asked us to look at what success was for us. What our own skills and knowledge are. To trust in ourselves. To celebrate everything we are and love. This card also asks this of us. It asks us to fully embrace what is unique and singular about ourselves and to not feel any shame about it if it proves to be not conventionally acceptable.

It's okay to shake things up a bit and be weird and unusual. That is what brings change and awareness. If you make other's a bit uncomfortable with your quirkiness that's okay. That means there is room for growth and learning (just remember to do things with kindness).

What looks like success or abundance to you may not to others, and that's okay! We all have different goals, perspectives, needs, and wants. And the more of us that are accepting of others differences, then that's more of us being able to find our success and abundace.

Our beautiful Healing card this week is the Four of Wands. A card of joy and celebration.

A reminder to make room in your life for fun with the people you love and appreciate. And to celebrate your wins instead of just focusing on your failures.

Take the time to formally, or informally, celebrate your life and what you have been able to achieve so far. Share it with everyone you hold dear. The difficult parts start to feel a whole lot less difficult if you can feel gratitude in the abundance you do have.

Celebrate the small things just as much as the big things. They are just as important. And sometimes, with hindsight, the small things are the most important to us. So don't be afraid to show your appreciation to everything and everyone, profusely! It's not embarrassing. It's what the world needs right now.
