We all have days when we struggle. Our minds wander, thoughts set in, and sometimes we let those negative thoughts creep in. We start feeling down and depressed, and sometimes we judge ourselves too harshly. The yoga sutras say that when we experience avidya (ignorance), we often believe or become tangled up in all the thoughts we experience in the mind. We confuse our genuine self—the purest and core essence—with the ego, and we get pushed and pulled around by the storms of the mind, the Maya.
How does Kundalini Yoga help with calming the storm or the Maya and releasing Ahamkara (the me, myself, and I)? Ego Eradicator Kundalini Kriya is practised to bring that openness in the heart, which removes the sense of I-ness and calms the mind. This kriya will also balance your chakras, ensuring a smoother flow of prana energy. This will promote mental clarity, awareness, alertness, and calmness.
