There is a measles outbreak in Alberta. If you suspect you or someone in your household has measles, the advice is to stay home and call 811. Do not come to the clinic for your regular appointment.

Walk In patients who suspect they have measles, please call the clinic before presenting in person to receive specific instructions.

Beginning March 11, 2025 - The Bonnyville PCN Coordinated Care Program is a Home to Hospital to Home support program providing short-term care for patients discharged from Acute Care without a family doctor or nurse practitioner.

Today our staff was celebrated for Administrative Assistant Day! Some have been with the BMC family for a very long time! Their daily hard work and dedication to our patients, physicians and allied health professionals is most certainly appreciated!

Why do we no longer accept walk in bookings by phone?

Our commitment is to the patients in our Bonnyville community. We were getting many calls from patients in other communities (Cold Lake, Lac La Biche, St. Paul, Elk Point etc) to book walk in spots that took away our ability to serve patients in our community. Reverting to in person registration enabled us to serve Bonnyville patients, and hopefully take the stress off our Emergency Department.

Additionally we have increased walk in capacity on the first day after each weekend, as those were identified as our busiest days.

Thank you for understanding as we navigate ways to better serve you, our patients.

WALK IN CLINIC

We are changing our walk in clinic back to traditional walk in.

Effective immediately: Walk in bookings will no longer be accepted by phone. Patients must present to the clinic in person to book in the walk in.

We are confident this change back to traditional walk in is the best way to serve our patients.
