My passion is helping my patients achieve their goals. I am learning daily about bio-mechanics, trigger points, postural imbalances, gait analysis. I practice what I preach and am fitter now than when I started 30 years ago. If your passion is to keep active, come see me. When your passion is to perform with confidence in your sport, come see me. Deep breathing and lengthening exercises like yoga improve your posture and your ability to handle stress. Active is better than passive. Exercise is the one treatment that has proven itself over time for everyone. If I can teach you how to help yourself, it is much better than making you dependent on treatment. Posture is key. Hunching over that keyboard for hours will translate to pain. Your neck, back, wrists, and elbows will start to scream at you. Any activity that you do without a break will also strain your muscles. I will teach you how to practice good posture, and take stretch breaks, to prevent pain. Be kind to your body and do something you love every day!

Sergeant Gander. WWII Hero and Dog.

The 135-lb Newfoundland dog, initially named Pal, was adopted by the troops who were at war, He was given to the soldiers stationed at the airbase, RCAF Station Gander, and therefore renamed Gander. He became the troop’s companion, with Rifleman Fred Kelly being responsible for him, and joined their mission in the Battle of Lye Mun on Hong Kong Island in Dec. 1941. He scared off many Japanese invaders by biting the heels of and tackling any who approached. Gander’s black coat made him hard to see at night giving him an advantage against the enemy. His final and most heroic move was picking up a gr***de that had been thrown toward Canadian soldiers, and running away with it. Sergeant Gander died in action after it exploded in his mouth saving seven troops.
