It’s the moment you’ve been waiting all season for! The winner of the annual Total Balance Physiotherapy ugly ornament contest is………. the ‘tacky elephant’!! This was a clear winner, earning the most votes from our staff. Thanks to everyone who brought an ornament for our tree, for everyone who stopped to look at the ornaments and to all of you for following along here. We’re already excited for what next year will bring! We might need to get a bigger tree…..🌲

We wish you all the best this holiday season! We now are closed until next week. Our Bracebridge office will be open on Monday December 29th and Gravenhurst will open again on Tuesday December 30th. Happy holidays, everyone!

In today’s ugly ornament update, we introduce you to ribbon dog! To be honest, I am unsure of the origins of ribbon dog but we sure are glad he is on our tree! He’s been around for a while!
This year’s entries are coming in fast. Do you have an ugly ornament you’d like to put on our tree? Bring it by the clinic. We’d love to see it!!

You’ve heard of the Christmas Pickle, right? Well may we present ‘Picklous Cage’. Picklous is a former ugly ornament champion, winning the contest two years ago. He remains a fan favourite even now!! Thanks to the patient who brought him in - he brings joy to everyone who comes in! What ornament will win this year?? Make sure you bring your entry in so it can hang on our tree and you may be the winner!!

For our first post featuring ugly ornaments of Christmas past, meet the ‘OG’ ugly ornament. Many years ago, when Kim was a new physio, this was her gift in the staff secret Santa exchange. Needless to say, this singing mermaid lady started the ugly ornament trend and we are so glad that she is still prominently featured on the Total Balance tree every year! Do you have an ornament that rivals this one? Don’t forget to bring it in to hang on our tree! We will be sure you get it back at the end of the season, if you want it, and if our staff thinks yours is the ugliest, you’ll win this gift basket with a TENs machine and Biofreeze in it! We can’t wait to see what shows up on the trees this year. Our gravenhurst clinic has a tree too!!

It’s everybody’s favourite time of year!! We encourage all of our clients to bring in their favourite ‘ugly ornaments’ for our tree. Our staff will vote on their favourite one and the winner will receive a TENS machine and some Biofreeze! We can’t wait to see what you all bring us this year!!!
