At Dissette Animal Hospital we emphasize proper preventative health care and nutrition for all stages of your pet's life; early detection and management of disease as your pet ages; as well as complete medical, dental and surgical care as necessary during his or her lifetime. We also use an extended vaccination protocol, which means you are vaccinating less. It is our commitment to provide quality veterinary care throughout the life of your pet. Happy Thanksgiving! 🍂🦃 This long weekend, we’re grateful for all our furry friends who fill our lives with love and joy. 🐾 Wishing you and your pets a safe, cozy, and delicious holiday! 🧡

FOUND CAT !
This sweet girl was found near Dissette and Bridge St on Wednesday September 10th. She is extremely friendly, has been well cared for and well fed. She is not microchipped and is currently in a safe place. Please let us know if you recognize this cat, we would love to get her home :)

A recent article by Dr. Scott Weese on Worms & Germs has raised concern about Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever— a tick-borne disease rarely seen in Ontario. We want to spread awareness so that both pets and owners stay safe.

Please be extra cautious, especially if you have visited the Long Point area this summer. Use tick prevention, check your pets (and yourself) after outdoor adventures and avoid high tick areas. Stay safe and enjoy the last weeks of summer 🌞🐾
