About 1 in every 30 Canadian children shows signs linked to Auditory Processing Disorder (APD). Sadly, most go years without proper evaluation because parents assume the struggles are just part of growing up. These kids hear sounds but can’t always make sense of them, especially in noisy classrooms. They may be called inattentive or slow, when in reality, their brain is simply working harder to process what others hear easily.

At Kick Start Therapy, we help parents recognize these early signs and support children to focus and communicate better. Let’s make sure no child gets mislabeled for something they can’t control.
