It’s that time of year again...Summer is here full force! 🌷🌸🌾

But with Summer’s beauty and rebirth come itchy, red, swollen, and burning eyes.🥺

Here are out top tips on how to manage those dreaded eye allergies- you’re going to want to hit SAVE 📂for these!
🌸If the pollen count is high, stay indoors (not an issue while social distancing!)
🏠Use an air filter while indoors to decrease allergens and replace the filter regularly
😎 Protect your eyes while outdoors with wrap-around sunglasses
👀 If you wear contacts, make sure to remove them nightly and consider switching to daily disposables
👕 Remove all your clothes when coming indoors since they carry pollen
🛁Bathe or at least wash your face and hair before going to sleep to decrease the pollen count on your pillow and in your bed
🥽Use cool compresses twice daily
❄️Use chilled, preservative-free artificial tears
🤧Use topical antihistamines
🧹Do a thorough spring cleaning- vacuum under carpets, fabric furniture and curtains, clean dust bunnies from in nooks and crannies
💊 Consider an oral allergy medication if drops are not working
👁 For severe allergies that don’t respond to standard treatment, consider a short course of a mild topical steroid drop.
