It's been a while since we've posted. It has been a very busy winter. We have given out toys, small appliances and clothing to those in need.

At this point in time we are working on a couple of events in the community and working on our community garden.

We're especially proud of the community garden since it will allow us to give the vegetables to food banks and families in need.

Because we are so busy,. we're not always able to post updates, but we will definitely make an effort to be more proactive in that department.

Our Story

I Can Be Social and Community Service Inc. (I Can Be) is a grassroots registered non-profit corporation, founded by Patricia Foster in 2015. The organization’s primary focus is on relieving the cycle poverty among low-income lone parent families in Canada.

I Can Be’s aim is to motivate and inspire the children. To help guide them onto a positive life path, through athletics, academics, and the arts, thus allowing them the chance to develop social skills, character and personal development.

I Can Be will work to empower the parents. though programs, such as Counselling, Volunteering and Career Counselling and other programs that will give them a sense of empowerment and encourage them to also take an active part in their communities.
