Totally Outright is a holistic, certificate based 16 session 2SLGBTQ+ capacity-building program for adults (18+) to develop sexual, mental, emotional, and physical health - while exploring the role of culture, identity, and community through a mix of 1:1 sessions and group roundtable discussions that encourage learning, sharing, and connection.

On Thursday, November 27, we gather in community to remember, honour, and rise together.

Join us for an evening of reflection, resilience, and hope at the Peel Art Gallery Museum and Archives (PAMA) from 4–6 PM.

This year’s theme “Rethink. Rebuild. Rise.”, invites us to imagine a future free from stigma and discrimination — where every person affected by HIV is seen, supported, and celebrated.

Welcome to the Removing the Barriers Training, by Moyo Health and Community Services!

This training is a service provider training, working to expand knowledge on 2SLGBTQ+ Inclusivity, Sexual Health, and Harm Reduction; while also building capacity by leveraging Gaining Perspectives and Narratives, Asking Questions and Gauging Curiosity, and Lifelong Learning.

But, what if you’re not too sure about all of those topics? Maybe the regularly scheduled trainings are causing scheduling conflicts? No problem! This is a customizable training where you can decide what and when you’d like to train yourself or the team!

So. What are you waiting for? If you’d like the regularly scheduled trainings, click the “Reserve a Spot”. Want customized training? Then message 2SLGBTQ+ Training and Capacity Building Coordinator.

Let’s remove those barriers!

Please Note: The Removing the Barriers Training will happen virtually (Zoom) by default. Registrations will close one week prior to the training date to allow participants to prepare beforehand. However, the ability to customize your training is available!

Join us tonight at Q***r Minds🏳️‍🌈!

Q***r Minds is a closed social space for individuals who identify as Two-Spirit, Le***an, Gay Bisexual, Trans, Q***r etc... In collaboration between Moyo Health & Community Services and the Canadian Mental Health Association.

Group takes place every Wednesday from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm.

Q***r Minds is a group for individuals aged 16+ to connect with community and gain knowledge and support on various 2SLGBTQ+ topics/issues.

Let’s Talk Series is a Service Provider Training on Supporting Mental Health of Newcomer ACB Communities.

This workshop will focus on understanding how anti-Black racism uniquely affects the mental health and well-being of newcomer African, Caribbean, and Black (ACB) communities in Peel. This workshop aims to share important insights into the cultural, systemic, and institutional barriers that limit newcomers ACB individuals’ access to essential services while explore practical ways to adopt culturally safe, trauma-informed, culturally responsive and anti-racist practices to create inclusive organizations supporting newcomer ACB communities in Peel Region.

Keynote Speaker: Andria Barrett

Andria Barrett is an award-winning speaker and trainer who helps organizations beat burnout, boost engagement, and build healthy, inclusive workplace cultures. She works at the intersection of Equity, Mental Health, and AI, helping organizations to build a strong workplace cultures.

By the end of the workshop, participants will:

• Understand how anti-Black racism impacts the mental health of newcomer ACB communities
• Recognize bias and systemic barriers within workplaces and service delivery models.
• Strengthen skills to create culturally safe, trauma-informed, and inclusive spaces.
• Learn practical tools to support ACB employees, clients, and communities.
• Commit to personal and organizational actions that foster belonging and equity.
