Most people think the gym has to be serious to be effective.
Like if you’re not grinding, suffering, or dragging yourself through it… it “doesn’t count.”
That’s just not true.
The best training environments—the ones that people actually stick with—feel different.
They feel like:
• Walking in and knowing people
• High fives and inside jokes
• Coaches who actually see you
• Working hard… but wanting to be there
Because here’s the reality:
If you don’t enjoy it… you won’t do it long enough for it to matter.
And consistency beats intensity every single time.
That doesn’t mean it’s easy.
You’ll still sweat. You’ll still get challenged.
But it should be something you look forward to.
Something that makes your day better—not something you have to survive.
So yeah… we want you stronger, fitter, healthier.
But we also want it to be:
👉 the best hour of your day.

April we’re doing something a little different🚲
We’ve teamed up with our friends at for a month-long bike challenge.
Simple idea:
Every ride you do gets tracked, and at the end of the month we’ll compare average distance per person between the two gyms.
So it’s not about who has the one or two people who go all out…
It’s about what we can do as a group.
You’ll be able to rack up distance:
• during workouts
• in open gym
• or just popping in for a quick ride
Everything counts.
If you’re already coming to class, you’re basically in.
If you want to be part of it, now’s a good time to jump in.

That’s a wrap. 🚣♀️🔥
Over the last few weeks, our teams of two took on the challenge of rowing the distance across Lake Ontario… and every single team finished.
When we added it all up?
Just under 3,000,000 meters rowed.
Let that sink in for a second.
That’s a ridiculous amount of work, consistency, and teamwork — and it showed up in every session. Proud of this crew. 👊
Next up… we’re switching gears. 🚴♂️

Brennon and Lindsay are a husband and wife team who met in 2011 at a personal training certification course. By the end of the weekend they knew two things for sure: 1) they wanted to become health professionals, and 2) they were going to marry each other. That same year they enrolled in Humber College’s Fitness & Health Promotion program and ran group training through their first company, TrainMeFit, while in school. Upon graduating they received grant money to grow what became TrainMeFit Inc., and were able to expand their small group and personal training services in the Brampton community.
TrainMeFit grew from a 4-hour a week training service out of a rented space, to a full blown fitness company out of our garage studio. Over the past 9 years we have worked with people in their 20s to people in their 70s. Our members are a diverse community who, maybe like you, were apprehensive about joining a gym. New members have always quickly realized that our space is supportive, safe, fun, and judgement free.
This year, TrainMeFit has officially outgrown its garage studio. We have more members than our space can handle, and so the time has finally come for us to expand. We have always dreamed of owning a CrossFit gym - the sense of community it fosters and creativity it allows its trainers is exciting to us. And so we have CrossFit Brampton.
We are so excited by the opportunity to reach even more community members. Now more than ever we know that many people need the support, the knowledge, and the means to be proactive about their health. Whether you want to ensure you maintain your independence as you age, manage chronic disease, or want to exercise to just feel good we are ready for you!
A lot has changed for us since 2011. We did get married, and we are health professionals, but we never could have expected the impact our past and present members have had on us. We know that your time with us is about more than just working out; it is about community, it is about physical and emotional support, it is about your health, it is about your future. Whether you choose to work with us at TrainMeFit Inc or at CrossFit Brampton, we are so excited to be your go-to health and fitness team.
