The residents celebrated the legacy of Robbie Burns by enjoying Scottish shortbread and tea during afternoon social. This was followed by a poem-writing contest, giving residents the opportunity to showcase their wonderful talents.

From card games like Euchre and Cribbage to Dominoes, Chess, Snip Snap and Snorem, and more, tabletop games are always a hit. The residents are eager to learn new games, and we are delighted by how welcoming they are—always inviting new people to join and patiently teaching fellow residents and volunteers alike.

Despite the cold and treacherous weather conditions today, our residence still enjoyed a meaningful afternoon as Bob Hamilton joined us and led a beautiful rendition of classic hymns through song.

We had a fantastic Cruise Ship Themed Day yesterday! 🚢🌴
We imagined escaping the cold January weather and embarking on a cruise to the southern Caribbean. Throughout the building, several rooms were beautifully decorated to resemble Caribbean ports, each highlighting a different destination, culture, and experience.
To close the day, we enjoyed a vibrant entertainer who brought us even deeper into the cruise experience with lively songs and dancing, ending the day on a joyful and energetic note.

One form of relaxation is listening to music and singing—and that is exactly what the residents enjoy during karaoke time. As we go through classic oldies, familiar melodies fill the room, rekindling cherished memories and bringing smiles, laughter, and a sense of togetherness.
