Introducing SolEssence Wellness!

Naturopathic medicine & integrative health with Dr. Alyssa Robbins, ND

I am so beyond grateful for Dr Brown and Golden Oak for giving me such a wonderful experience for the start of my naturopathic career. I am going to miss Karly terribly, but I am so excited for her in her new endeavours and am also so excited for this new chapter starting a clinic of my own to grow with!

SolEssence represents the light that guides you back to your truest self — to the essence of vitality, balance, and wholeness within. Integrating naturopathic medicine and holistic health and wellness approaches, SolEssence Wellness strives to help you achieve health - body, mind, and soul.

To our current patients, nothing is changing for you except our name! Our address and phone number are the same, your account information is all the same, and any appointments you currently have are still on the schedule!

Attention Dr. Brown’s Patients
We wanted to inform you that Dr. Brown, ND, will be taking a leave of absence beginning October 1, 2025 so she can focus on her family!

If you wish to schedule a follow-up appointment or use any outstanding requisitions, we encourage you to do so before that date.

Starting October 1, all follow up appointments will be scheduled with Dr. Robbins, ND.

Meet Dr. Alyssa Robbins, ND!
 
Alyssa was born and raised in Brandon and has absolutely loved working with the patients from this community and surrounding area over the last 5 years to help them achieve their health goals!
 
Alyssa strongly believes that nothing in our bodies happens in isolation, and that it is essential to consider all aspects of our physical, and mental wellbeing, when it comes to addressing our health!
 
Some of Alyssa’s favourite things to work on with patients are optimizing digestive and hormonal health! Although she considers symptom management important and sometimes necessary, Alyssa’s ultimate goal is to support the body’s foundational resources, allowing us to return to a state of best function, and hopefully to move away from the need for symptom management altogether.
 
When not working, Alyssa is busy spending time with her partner Jay, and their two young sons. Being a busy, working mom, Alyssa emphasizes the importance of being graceful with yourself through various seasons of life, and works with you to try to achieve your health goals at a pace that works for you!

Meet Karly Brown, ND 🌿
Karly is a dedicated Naturopathic Doctor with a passion for helping patients feel their best. She enjoys supporting patients with hormone health and digestion, working closely with each person to uncover the root cause of their symptoms and restore balance from the inside out.

In 2017, Karly named her naturopathic clinic in honor of her late mother, drawing inspiration from her favorite trees—the Golden Cascade Linden, and Oak trees. Golden Oak Naturopathic Clinic is more than a place of healing—it’s a tribute to deep roots and lasting love. Our clinic honors her memory through nature’s strength, beauty, and resilience.

When she’s not in the clinic, you’ll find Karly living her philosophy—moving her body, staying active, and embracing a healthy, energized lifestyle. She truly lives what she teaches, and loves empowering others to do the same. She shares life’s adventures with her husband, Cody, and their two wonderful kids.

Meet Becky!
 
Becky was born and raised in Brandon, and still lives here with her husband Mark, and daughter Ava! She spent the majority of her life working with the public and customer service, including time at her family’s long-held funeral business. In her down time, Becky enjoys time and travel with her family, as well as fitness and watching sports!
 
Becky has always been health and wellness focused, and that led her to Golden Oak! It was a serendipitous interaction that led to Becky turning up in our lives at the exact moment we were looking for a new admin! She has now been with us for two years, and we couldn’t be happier to have her!
 
Becky is a huge people person, and loves getting to chat with everyone who comes through our doors! Her favourite part of working at Golden Oak is the daily interactions and seeing people succeed in their health!
 
Becky currently works our front desk Tuesday – Thursday, and would love to say hello if you pop by or give us a call!
