Founded in 1977, we are Manitoba’s largest, independent pharmacy. Super Thrifty was founded in 1977 in Brandon, Manitoba by seven partners.

At that time, there were five stores with three located in Brandon, one in Rivers and one in Hamiota. There are now fifteen drugstores operating under the Super Thrifty banner, including one in Saskatchewan and one in British Columbia.

This position is ideal for a pharmacist transitioning to retirement or looking for a more flexible schedule. This position will travel as needed to Super Thrifty locations throughout Manitoba and is an excellent opportunity to explore some of the most scenic areas of the province while building connections in rural communities. Local accommodation, per diem, and mileage allowance provided!

Some qualifications include:
✅ Registered with the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba with a license to practice pharmacy in Manitoba
✅ Access to a vehicle for travel
✅ Familiarity with Kroll is an asset
✅ Authorization to administer injections and/or other advance practice qualifications an asset

📍 𝟭𝟭𝟬𝟬 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝘃𝗲. 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗕.

Super Thrifty Pharmacy opened as Allen-Brown Drug Mart in the Brandon Shoppers Mall in 1971. It was one of the original stores forming Super Thrifty when the new company was founded in 1977.

After its long presence in the mall, the owners made the decision to relocate to the current location at 1100 Richmond Avenue. In 2001, a new building with an actual grain bin incorporated in its design, was built and the store relocated with the new name of Super Thrifty Pharmacy.

This pharmacy provides the only drive-through service in Brandon, increasing accessibility and convenience for its customers. 🚗
