Mattie Braden, a warm and skilled counsellor, is currently accepting new clients into her welcoming and comfortable practice space.

Mattie holds two Master of Education degrees. One in Counselling and another in Special Education and is a Certified Canadian Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association.
She brings a thoughtful, trauma-informed approach to her work, drawing primarily from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy.

Mattie works with a broad range of clients ( couples included ) and has a special interest in supporting individuals who experience neurodiversity. Her compassionate, client-centered approach creates a safe environment for growth, understanding, and meaningful change.

If you’re seeking support, Mattie would be honoured to connect with you. During the summer months Mattie has availability during the mornings & afternoons and into the fall she has evenings. Direct billing to most major insurance companies is also available.

Part of unmasking mental health is dispelling the myth that self-care is self-indulgence. Self-care is proactive and deliberate and it’s critical to our mental and physical wellbeing. We should all practice self-care in some form every day from ensuring we get a good night’s rest to getting help when we need it.

Welcome to All Our New Followers!

With so many new faces joining us here on Facebook and Instagram, we wanted to take a moment to reintroduce ourselves and share the story behind TMT – The Massage Temple.

Together, we’ve been practicing massage therapy for over a decade each, and we’re passionate about helping others heal and feel their best.

TMT began in a cozy little shop on 6th Street, October 2019. When Ashley finally convinced Kirstie to come work alongside her, it quickly became clear that going into business together was the next right step. In November 2023, Kirstie officially became a co-owner, and we expanded into our beautiful new space at 1502 Rosser Avenue with a vision to grow and offer more healing modalities under one roof.

What started with three RMTs and a mind-body coach has now evolved into a wellness space, offering services from:

✨ 1 Certified Counsellor
✨ 1 Psychic Medium & Energy Healer

We’re proud of how far we’ve come, and we’re not done yet! We currently have space available for like-minded practitioners and would love to connect with anyone interested in joining our wellness team.
