At Guiding Hands we believe the proof is in the "moments".

We build moments of value and joy in peoples lives.

Last year for Christmas we provided each Guiding Hands member with a photo album and included pictures from their special moments captured throughout the year.

This year we took it one step further and included a photo booth at our annual Christmas Party to encourage people to capture their own moments.

When we initially planned this, I had no idea that tragedy in my own life would pull me away from this very important event that I have hosted each and every year since it began. Our group all handed in their photos so I could still be included in their moments! This meant the world to me and I wanted to share a few of them with all of you!

Hey Guiding Hands crew, we have a community leader who needs our prayers and support.
Andrew Nielsen who attended as our role model speaker last year is currently very sick and struggling with influenza.
He has been hospitalized for a while now.

Let's all put our prayers and our hearts together to support and encourage him.

Andrew, we're praying for you. Our community needs people like you! Stay strong and know that we are all behind you.

Sign ups for the month of January are starting tomorrow, Thursday December 18th at 10am!! So make sure to email/call/come in to the office and get yourself signed up!! 🫡

Quick update for chess club, it’s being moved to Monday December 15th from 1-3pm and it’s still free so give me a call and I’ll put your name down and teach you to play chess or checkers or come show us what ya got if you already know how to play!

Guiding Hands is an organization that developed out of a need for simplified services for individuals with developmental disabilities. We feel that every client should have access to qualified personal support workers who are easy to find, and services that are easy to use while still being decently affordable.
