This fellow had an amazing night at his first Bulldogs game, he got a puck given to him, an official first bulldog game certificate and got to get his picture taken with the bulldog mascot.
He absolutely loved it and wants to go again!

At Coffee and Joy this week we talked about the importance of becoming involved in your city.

We talked about making your voice heard and the importance of voting.

We shared that having a disability does not mean your opinion doesn't matter and it doesn't mean that you can't be a leader in the community.

If anything, it means that you have likely experienced the difficulties in our city differently and more directly than many others.

Perhaps this year someone from Guiding Hands will consider joining the race to give a different perspective on what Brantford needs to truly be inclusive.

Thank you to the City of Brantford for hosting this upcoming information session.

Join us for an education session for individuals considering running in the 2026 Municipal Election. Learn about the Councillor role, time commitment, legislative/ethical requirements, what to expect during a term of office, and hear practical insights from former councillors. A moderated Q&A will follow.
