Sometimes we lose that fearless, excited part of ourselves.

My older self worries about what people will think.
My younger self just wants to create whatever feels fun.

Today, I’m trying to listen to her a little more.

Because the best ideas come when we stop overthinking and just start creating.

One of my favourite parts of this job is the conversations that happen on the table.

“I lost my job.”
“I got engaged.”
“I have to tell you about my vacation.”
“I started a new workout routine.”
“I’m so stressed lately.”

Sometimes people come to relax.
Sometimes they come to vent.
Sometimes they just need a quiet hour.

Being trusted with those moments is something I never take for granted. ❤️

Massage therapy can help interrupt the cycle of post-operative pain — like placing a gentle pause in the wheel.

It’s important to say this is meant to support your recovery, not replace your surgeon’s advice. Pain is complex and layered, and massage is just one piece of the puzzle.

But we know that pain influences how we think, how we feel, and how we move.
When pain decreases, outcomes often improve — physically and mentally.

Massage can be a gentle and effective way to relieve neck tension.

By working on tight muscles and improving circulation, massage helps release built-up stress that often settles in the neck and shoulders.

Many people hold tension here from daily habits like sitting at a desk, using phones, or feeling stressed.

Regular massage can help reduce stiffness, improve movement, and leave you feeling more relaxed and comfortable overall. It’s not just about feeling good in the moment—it’s about giving your body the care it needs to feel better day to day.

Personalized for everyone - because life's too short for a cookie cutter massage ❤️

Normally, after an injury heals, our nervous system (the body’s danger detector) stops sending pain signals.

But sometimes it gets stuck in “high alert,” making even simple movements like sitting, standing, or putting on shoes feel threatening.

That’s how chronic pain happens.
Ironically, complete rest or avoiding movement keeps the nervous system on guard, worsens pain over time, and weakens the muscles and joints that support you.

🩵 First, give yourself grace. This is tough — but your body is adaptable.

✨ With time, repetition, and safe, progressive movement, your nervous system can be retrained.

✨ You can send signals of safety to calm the pain response.

✨ Step-by-step exercises help you rebuild strength, mobility, and confidence — even with old injuries or degenerative arthritis.

I love incorporating Cupping Therapy into my treatments as a way to gently warm the tissues before more targeted work and offer a different kind of input to the nervous system.

Our brains really appreciate variety in sensation when building strong brain-to-body connections 🤓🧠🤸🏻‍♀️

If the circular marks look intimidating—don’t worry. They’re simply a result of increased local blood flow and will fade naturally on their own.

Adding cupping to your treatment is always optional and always complimentary.

Just make a note that you’d like to try it when booking online 📲

Important reminders:
➡️ Cupping isn’t suitable for everyone
➡️ A thorough intake is required to determine if this modality is appropriate

I’m a massage therapist —
but I don’t live in perfect alignment 24/7.

Some days I’m mindful.
Some days I’m slouched on the couch.

I move well… and sometimes I don’t.

There are countless ways to stand, sit, work, and rest.

This space will always be honest, real, and me ❤️
