St. Joseph’s Lifecare Centre Brantford and Stedman Community Hospice are developing a new strategic plan to guide our organizations into the future.

Whether you’re a healthcare worker with a unique perspective on the work you do every day, have a loved one living at St. Joseph’s Lifecare Centre, have been touched by the care at Stedman Community Hospice or rely on St. Joe's for community care, we are all impacted by local healthcare throughout every stage of our life.

Our new strategic plan will guide our decisions on programs and services through the next five years. The plan will allow us to continue our mission to provide high-quality, compassionate care as the needs of our community evolve.

Our sincere thanks to Brantford Sunrise Rotary club member Reg Madison for stopping by on behalf of Club to deliver a donation of poinsettias, bringing smiles to the faces of staff and residents alike. We truly appreciate this gift that will add a burst of colour to each of our resident neighbourhoods. Thank you so much!

Residents recently spent an afternoon repotting Christmas cactus plants with the help of our horticultural therapists Lynn and Meagan. The plants will be available for sale at the upcoming Holiday Bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 15 at St. Joseph’s Lifecare Centre, with proceeds supporting programs for residents.

Activities like these are part of our horticultural therapy program, which helps residents engage their senses, express creativity and enjoy hands-on moments of calm and accomplishment. 🌸
