No, your RMT isn’t trying to turn you into a burrito.

But proper draping is one of the most important parts of your treatment. It’s what keeps you feeling comfortable, secure, and respected throughout the entire process. Only the area I’m treating is ever uncovered, everything else stays draped so you can fully relax and let your body do the work it needs to do.

It’s not just about sheets—it’s about trust, comfort, and feeling safe enough to actually unwind.

Ever wonder what it looks like when a massage therapist turns into a human contortionist? Here I am, demonstrating special tests for rotator cuff injuries. These moves help figure out which shoulder muscle is playing nice and which one is throwing a tantrum. Did you know you have 4 rotator cuff muscles?

Swipe through to see the tests in action—and maybe realize your shoulder isn’t as flexible as you thought. Spoiler: your shoulder probably isn’t impressed either

Two years. August 10th, 2023 marks the date I received my registration number and I couldn’t be more proud, happy, and grateful.
Two years of growth, learning, and doing what I love most — helping people feel better in their bodies.

I’m endlessly grateful for every single client who has trusted me with their care, for every conversation we’ve had, and for allowing me to be a part of your wellness journey. You’ve taught me just as much as I’ve helped you, and I don’t take that for granted.

Looking back at where I started to where I am now, I’m so proud of how far I’ve come as a practitioner. The skills, the confidence, and the deep understanding I’ve gained — it’s all because of the people who believed in me along the way.

Here’s to many more years of helping, learning, and growing. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for letting me do what I love every single day. 🫶🏼

➡️Swipe to learn ➡️ why recovery matters more than we think.

It’s easy to focus on training hard or staying busy, but not enough of us actually recover well.
Massage has become a key part of that for me, and many people who come to see me, it’s more than just a way to feel good.

Do you make time for recovery, or just wait until something hurts? Let me know below!

Hey everyone! I’m Caitlyn, a passionate RMT dedicated to helping people move and feel their best. I love working with the active population—whether you’re an athlete, weekend warrior, or just love to stay moving, I’m here to help you recover and perform at your best!

When I’m not in the treatment room, you’ll find me snowboarding, soaking up the sun at the beach, or hanging out with my dog. Check out my website in my bio for more information about me, and my massage locations, prices, and style.

I look forward to relieving your pain, and restoring your movement.

Unlocking the Layers of the Upper Back

The upper back is made up of three distinct muscle layers that work together to provide strength, stability, and mobility.

Superficial Layer: These are the “power movers,” including muscles like the trapezius and latissimus dorsi, responsible for large-scale movements like lifting and pulling.

Intermediate Layer: These muscles, such as the rhomboids and serratus posterior superior, support breathing and help stabilize the spine during movement.

Deep Layer: The erector spinae and transversospinalis group lie closest to the spine and are key for posture, spinal alignment, and fine motor control.

Cupping therapy, as shown in this photo, can help improve blood flow and release tension in these ALL muscle layers at once. Keeping these layers healthy is essential for mobility and overall function.
