As the fall air starts to cool, I wanted to share a little seasonal wellness reminder from my East Asian medicine practice — one that’s simple but surprisingly powerful:
👉 Keep your head, neck and chest warm.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, this protects the Lung energy (Metal element)— which governs both your immune system and emotional balance. Even a light scarf or shawl can help ward off that first seasonal chill (and those pesky autumn sniffles!) especially with the fluctuating temperatures or cooler, damp and windy weather.
I’ll be moving to Kingston this December and opening my acupuncture practice , where I’ll be offering gentle, restorative treatments to help people feel grounded and balanced through the seasons.
💬 I’d love to know — how do you stay cozy and healthy in Kingston’s fall weather?
