Sheila Baker has been a part of the Riverview Terrace community for over six months, and she shares that from the very beginning, she felt comfortable and welcomed. Adjusting to her new home came naturally, and she quickly felt at ease.

“When I first moved here, I didn’t have any difficulties adjusting. It felt like a good place right away. I really like everything here.

I’ve made good friends, and I enjoy going to the programs and activities whenever I can. There’s always something happening, and I like being involved.

Even though I have vision challenges, everyone here is so helpful. The staff are great — they help take me downstairs to activities and make sure I’m included. People are kind and supportive, and that means a lot to me.

This is truly a good place to live, and I’m happy to be here.”

🎶 Live Music with Synchronicity! 🎶

Laughter filled the room when Synchronicity Duo came to Riverview Terrace! From toe-tapping tunes to big smiles, this talented band truly knew how to make ’em laugh and get everyone enjoying the moment. 😊🎤

Our residents loved the music, the energy, and the joy they brought into the space. These are the kinds of afternoons that turn into beautiful memories — full of rhythm, connection, and happiness 💛

☕🫖 Tea Time That Brings Everyone Together!

Our Tea & Coffee Party has quickly become a much-loved tradition, taking place almost every month (and sometimes even twice!). There’s something about a warm cup of tea or coffee that draws people in and turns an ordinary afternoon into a room full of smiles and laughter.

This cozy gathering welcomes a beautiful mix of familiar faces and new ones each time, creating easy conversations, shared stories, and moments of genuine connection. From lively chats to quiet enjoyment, the tea party always ends up being one of those events where everyone feels comfortable and included.

Proof that the simplest moments — good company and a warm drink — often create the happiest memories 🫖☕💛

As always, Family and Friends Bingo was a night full of joy, laughter, and wonderful memories! 🎲✨

It was so special to see residents enjoying the game, sharing smiles, and spending quality time together in such a cheerful atmosphere. The excitement, the friendly competition, and the happiness on everyone’s faces truly made the evening shine.

A big thank you to everyone who came out and helped make the night such a success. These moments of togetherness are what make our community so special, and we love creating opportunities for fun, connection, and a little celebration along the way 💙
