The amount of times people would read the sign and intend to keep walking, but after striking up conversation they’d say, “actually… I will take a card”.
Being a genuine human being goes a longggg way.

My work is not transactional — it takes a trusting relationship to ensure someone feels safe, heard, and held during their birth and postpartum experience. That’s why I prioritize relationship from day 1.

One person said, “Wow, you’re so happy!”. I think it was the extrovert in me lighting up by talking about all things motherhood with so many people.

ATTENTION ALL EXPECTING MAMAS 📣
That’s right! I now have a TENS Machine available to every birth client 💕 If you’re hoping for drug-free relief from the intensity (I hate using the p-word because it doesn’t HAVE to be painful!), then a tens machine is a great place to start.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
A TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) machine is a portable device used for relief during labour by sending gentle electrical pulses through four electrode pads on the back. It blocks pain signals to the brain (Gate Control Theory) and stimulates endorphin production.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Of course, I still come with my bag (literal and mental) with tips & tricks for helping you cope, but this is a great VR ppl for early labour, before I arrive, etc. 💕

This is why exists — without all the support, I wouldn’t have been able to overcome the obstacles (and believe me, there were so many obstacles) and reach my breastfeeding goals. Almost 6 years now. Reaching your goal isn’t determined by grit (although some is required), but by the amount of support & resources you have.
