🎵 On the twelfth day of Food Safety, GEPH gave to me: Twelve pasteurized eggs.

Use pasteurized eggs or egg products when making homemade eggnog or ice cream. You can also use a cooked egg-milk mixture: Heat it gently and use a food thermometer to ensure it reaches 73°C 165°F.

🎵 On the tenth day of Food Safety, GEPH gave to me: Ten pounds of cooked turkey.

When roasting a whole turkey, be sure to cook it to a safe internal temperature of 82°C (180°F) at the thickest part of the breast or thigh. This ensures the turkey is fully cooked and safe to eat. For the most accurate reading, use a sanitized food thermometer to check the temperature.
