Some key points to remember when getting ready to help your child learn to use the toilet:

☑️ Toilet learning often does not happen overnight and can take more than six months before your child is out of diapers.
☑️ If you are feeling frustrated, enlist the help of family and friends for support.
☑️ Stay positive - remind your child it is ok to have accidents. Encourage them to try again. It's important they feel safe and supported while learning.
☑️ Avoid pressure - if your child is showing resistance or fear, take a break and try later. Pressure can make your child more anxious about the process.
